I'm starting to think there will never be a day where my alarm doesn't scare me awake. Why can't I wake up to birds chirping? Or kisses? Kisses would an amazing way to wake up... I can barely think with this awful ringing continuously going off.

"Okay, seriously. I'm going to beat this thing with a stick." I said while haphazardly grabbing my wand. I pointed in the general area of the stupid thing,"Immobulus" and the alarm stopped. I'm glad I pointed my wand close enough.

'Oh, thank Godric. At least it's Friday.'

I was thinking where my alarm could have gone, I don't care right now though, I'll find it later. I was laying on my back staring at the ceiling.

'Do I really have to get up today? Just one more day before the weekend.'

I forced myself out of bed, I don't know why I was feeling so exhausted today. I had finally started to get ready, everything I needed was already ready to go. My books were still in my bag and my entire outfit was set aside, at some point before collapsing into bed I had gotten it ready for today. I was reaching for my bag when I heard a knock on my door.

'What? Is someone actually at my door?'

I made my way to the door and opened it, there was Draco. What could he possibly want?

"Hi, Y/n." He sounded tired too.

"Hello Draco, what can I do for you?"

"Mother sent me a letter."

"Okay?" I paused, expecting him to tell me more. "Are you going to tell me about it?" I frowned when he shook his head. "Then why would you tell me?"

"Sorry, I uh. I just think we maybe shouldn't go to the Manor today." He sighed out.

'What the hell did she say in that letter?'

"Yeah, no, I can't do that. Your father would have my head. I'm more than willing to be anywhere you'd like to be while we are there, but I have to go." He sighed.

'Okay. What's going on. This is making me feel sick.'

I knew something happened there yesterday, because I was still there. But Merlin knows what happened after we left. I'm going not for his father, I'm going for his mother. I'm not so secretly scared for her, and if I'm there the chance that something would happen decreases. I had an unconscious protective tendency over her, I don't know why. Of course I would stand up for anyone, but it's almost like my body would force me through fire for her even if my mind won't allow it. But, all of this was a feeling not a realization.

"Okay. I don't know if we'll have dinner again tonight or not." He added.

"That's fine with me. Maybe you could sneak into the kitchen here and grab some snacks before we leave. I'm sure the elves won't notice." I offered, I'm fine without dinner but it's hard to focus on work while hungry.

"Could you go with me? Just in case I get caught. The elves here are kind of scary." He murmured out.

I laughed a little, "What? The Draco Malfoy is scared of something? I'm kidding, of course I'll go with you. I'll meet you around the corner of the kitchen after your final class, okay?" He smiled slightly and nodded, turning away after a second.

'He's a much nicer boy when he's not acting up around his friends.'

I regained my thoughts for the morning, time for potions. I was early again for potions, like I am everyday. I don't really mind. At least I know for sure I'll get my seat. Well, it's technically not my seat because we don't have assigned seats, but it is my seat.
