"Uncle Pickle, I think Zuma is too worried for Papa," Magma told her uncle as she headed to the kitchen. "He not eating or anything,"

"I think you're right," Pickle agreed.

"I know what to do!" Darington beamed and headed to the other room. "Hey, Inazuma, what about some stunts with your cousins, hmm?"

"No thanks, Uncle Darry…" Inazuma shook his head and laid his head on the couch.

"Well... that didn't work..." Darington sighed.

"So... what will work?" Magma asked.

"Well..." Pickle began to think.

But just as he began to think, there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it!" Darington offered and zoomed to the door.

And as soon as he answered it, Speedrick slowly went inside to avoid being seen.

"Quick, I need to get you and the twins somewhere safe. Whatever Cyro's planning to do with Blaze and Crusher, the twins are involved too."

"What?" Pickle looked shocked. "Wait, hang on, do you know where Crusher IS?"

"Yeah, I do," Speedrick gave a nod. "Don't ask me how I know, though, or else a lot of trouble wil get stirred up. Is there someplace safe you guys can get to for the time being?"

"The Great Forest," Darington answered. "It's the only place even Cryo doesn't know of,"

"Great," Speedrick nodded. "Get the twins there as fast as you can."

"Darry, you take the twins," Pickle told his husband. "Along with our kids. I'm staying to help,"

"Ok... be careful." Darington sighed and took the twins before driving off to get the others.

"All right, Pickle. Follow me." Speedrick motioned him to follow him then they all drove out.

"Well, hello, cousin," Cryo smirked as they met up at the starting line. "I see that you accepted? That dark blue truck must mean THAT much to you, huh?"

"Of course he does. And so do my kids."

Before he forgot, Blaze took his sunstone, gave a sigh into it's shiny surface, and gave it to AJ.

"Here. I don't want anyone in particular getting their slimy tires on it."

"I'll keep it safe, don't worry," AJ assured him.

As the two lined up at the starting line, Glacier stood at the sidelines. He glanced at his phone before sighing and staring to watch the race. Gabby was at the front of the trucks, holding out a checkered flag to start the race.

"Ok... on your mark, get set... GO!!"

The two then zoomed off into the track. Cryo took the lead and headed for the big loop. Blaze zipped off after him, and thanks to the loop, he managed to jump and steal the lead, causing Cryo to growl and speed up.

From the sides, everyone watched the race with anticipation and fear and worry.

"Come on, Blaze..." Watts muttered. "You can beat him!"

"We believe in you, Blaze!" Stripes roared encouragingly.

"And we always will!" Starla agreed.

That encouragement sparked something inside of Blaze... something he hadn't felt in years.

Now he really knew.

He really did have his family back.

And NOTHING was gonna stop him from keeping them.

With that in mind, he zoomed off as fast as he can to win the race.

"Here we are," Speedrick said as he and Pickle approached a dark warehouse.

"HELP!!! SOMEONE, HELP ME!!"

"Crusher!" Pickle cried out.

They both dashed to the door but found it chained.

"What can we do?" Pickle asked with a hiss.

Speedrick took out the sword Glacier gave him and slashed the chains apart. The chains fell off, and the door swung open.

"Crusher! Crusher, we're here!" Pickle yelled.

"Pickle! Speedrick! Get me outta here!" Crusher begged from the end of the warehouse, where he was chained up while his pipes were all tilted and broken while his body was full of bruises.

"Oh my gosh... I'M COMIN', CRUSHER!!!" Pickle sped to him. "DID CRYO DID ALL THIS?!"

"Yes..." Crusher hissed. "and Glacier helped him..."

"But, he was the one who got me to help get you out," Speedrick defended.

"Wh-What…?" Crusher looked shocked. "But… how…? And why…?"

"They're dating," Pickle shrugged.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT, I NEVER TOLD ANYONE!" Speedrick yelled.

"Meh... I have my ways." Pickle shrugged.

"What about the twins? Are they okay?" Crusher asked as Speedrick used the sword on the chains.

"They're fine. They're in the Great Forest with Darington and the quad. Come on. Let's get you to the Monster Dome-- no way am I missing the end of this race," Speedrick grinned.

"Race? What race?!" Crusher cried out.

"Oh, just the race to decide what'll happen to you and the twins." Speedrick shrugged.

"We also need Gabby to fix you up!" Pickle added.

"Uh... ok..." Crusher nodded slowly as they helped him up and helped him to drive out.

A buzz from his phone made Glacier glance away from the race.

Speedy: We have Crusher. We're on our way to the Monster Dome

Glacier sighed in relief and texted back.

Glacy: Okay, but be subtle. They're still racing

With that, he glanced back up to see Blaze and Cryo almost at the finish line, with the Periwinkle truck growling.

"You better back off, Blaze! This race is mine!"

"No... it... ISN'T!!"

Blaze snarled and turned his tires as much as he can. He passed Cryo with ease, and Gabby waved the flag as the red truck crossed the finish line with a dash.

"You did it, Blaze!" Flame cheered. "You won!"

"I... I did?" Blaze glanced at the finish line and gasped. "I did! I won!"

"NO!" Cryo roared out in rage. "THAT CAN'T BE!"

"It is, Cyro," AJ smirked. "Now Blaze gets his family back."

"And you leave Axle City for good!" Watts chortled.

"NO!" Cryo snarled. "Glacier, HELP ME!"

"No." Glacier shook his head.

"WHAT!?!" Cryo hissed and held out his phone. "Say that again, DARE YOU, and I WILL tell your sister."

"Go ahead, I don't care," Glacier shrugged. "Rick's gonna protect me anyway,"

"You two... ARE TOGETHER?!"

"We are," Glacier nodded. "Now, you... leave... now."

Cryo snarled and turned around to zoom off. Glacier sighed in relief before turning to Blaze.

"And by the way, you and Crusher owe me plenty. I knew where you two were the whole time, and I kept my mouth shut,"

"Thank you... thank you!" Blaze beamed.

"Eh, no problem," Glacier shrugged.

"BLAZE!"
