Meanwhile, back at the house, Speedrick and the children were all laid on their beds. They were unmoving but still breathing as they were set down.

Glacier had been crying at his lover's side since that morning. He had cried is hard that he had fallen asleep.

Darington and Pickle too had cried themselves to sleep on the beds of their children. Roarian was attempting to reverse the plague from the twins at the moment, leaving Blaze and Crusher to sigh as they slumped on the couch of the living room tiredly.

"I... I feel like such a failure..." Blaze sighed. "I know that no one wants me to feel that way, but... I just do..."

"Oh, Blaze…" Crusher sighed and nuzzled over his spouse. "Don't worry, I feel the same…"

"Maybe Roarian was wrong..." Blaze sniffled, tears falling on his sunstone. "Maybe I'm not worthy of the sunstone after all. I... I almost got Glacier killed... and it wouldn't surprise me if he blamed me for what Dynama did to Speedrick."

"He… maybe, knowing him well," Crusher winced at his own answer. "But I don't think he'll hold the grudge. I just… I don't know, I… I've never seen Glacier cry THIS much… or ever…"

Blaze didn't respond-- he just pushed his sunstone away as he covered his eyes, crying even more.

Crusher sighed and hugged him. "Hey, it's okay. It's going to be okay,"

"Crusher?"

The blue truck looked to see Roarian holding the twins out to him.

"They'll be just fine. They just need to rest."

"Thank you," Crusher sighed, taking them. "But... I think Blaze needs help too. He's starting to feel unworthy. He isn't blaming himself, but he feels other people besides me, you, and all the others, will."

"Ah, I see," Roarian nodded. "Blaze, may I speak to you for a moment?"

"Y-Yeah. Sure."

Blaze nodded and drove out with the flying lion. As soon as they were both out, Roarian frowned when he noticed that the sunstone was missing from the red truck's grasp.

"Where is your sunstone?"

"I… I don't feel like I'm worthy to use it… or be a guardian anymore…" Blaze sighed. "I mean, I almost let Glacier get killed! Just cause I couldn't control my anger..."

"We all lose our temper sometimes," Roarian assured him. "It is alright,"

"But... how can I stop Dynama and Cyro when one of them has death magic? I hate to say it, Roarian, but... maybe I'm not ready to face this..."

"No one is ready to face the world," Roarian spoke gently. "But they must be prepared, as you are. You have faced many obstacles. I am sure this will be an obstacle that you can pass. All you need to do is believe in yourself, my friend,"

"I... I don't know if I can..." Blaze sighed.

"You need not to face this alone," Roarian reassured him. "We are all right here to help if you need us,"

"Well... I guess. But I still need to come up with a plan."

Roarian thought for a while, but before he could answer, ice crystals began to sprout out from inside the house, causing them to gasp in shock.

"Oh no…!" Blaze's eyes widened in shock. "This is from…!"

Suddenly, Crusher's scream echoed from inside.

"CRUSHER!!"

They dashed inside, passing the twins that were now sleeping on the couch alone, and headed up stairs. They burst into the room and found Crusher and Glacier, with ice crystals between the brothers as the icy blue truck looked enraged.
