"Should we help him?" Grammy asked as they watched the battle from outside the warehouse through her crystal ball.

"I think not," Roarian shook his head. "This is his mission to accomplish, not our own. If he is in serious dangerous, that is when we must intervene,"

"Right."

Grammy nodded before she swerved her crystal ball. The image of her suffering grandsons appeared, and she sighed.

"I hope he hurries..."

Blaze panted as he swung his sword once more whilst dodging the blasts from his cousins' weapons. He growled as the villains cackled.

"Give it up, Blaze!" Cryo yelled out. "Between the four of us, you have NO CHANCE ON WINNING!"

"I'll never give up!" Blaze yelled back, swinging his sword once more.

Dynama sneered and flicked him away with her tail, sending the red truck back.

"Blaze!" AJ screamed.

"YES!" Cryo laughed in victory. "Surrender now, Blaze! You're OUTMATCHED!"

Blaze shook his head and allowed his sunstone to glow the brightest. He spotted a dark marking right on Dynama's stomach and wasted no time. He flew up and slashed the marking off of her, causing her to roar in pain.

"AGH!!"

"One down... a lot more to go!" Blaze sighed and flew forward.

Dynama attempted to grab him with her claws, but the brothers on her back weighed too much, and she wasn't quick enough. She let out another roar as another marking was slashed by the red truck.

"ARGH!" Dynama snarled and flicked the brothers off her back. "I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS!"

"HEY!" Cryo growled. "WE'RE SUPPOSE TO BE A TEAM HERE!"

"YOU TWO ARE SLOWING ME DOWN!" Dynama yelled back, her eyes glowing before she turned to Blaze and smirked. "Time to end this ONCE AND FOR ALL!"

She charged after the red truck, dark fire burning in her mouth to shoot. Blaze hissed as he swerved to avoid the flames.

Cryo growled and took out his gun to shoot. "He is MY cousin! I'LL be the one to kill him!"

"NO!" Dynama snarled and blasted her fire at them. "I WILL KILL HIM FIRST!"

As she did, the markings on her glowed intensly, and she started to weaken as the curse proceeded to drain her as well. Blaze noticed this and frowned.

"Dynama, stop! The curse is affecting you too!"

"Why would you care?" the dragon snarled.

"Dynama, please! Let me help you!" Blaze flew to her, raising his sword at her. "Let me scrape the marks off, please…"

"LIAR!" Dynama roared out. "You're only doing this to save your lover and Glacier!"

"Yes, but I want to help you too!" Blaze called out. "Please, let me—"

"NO!" Dynama aimed her dragon fire at the red truck.

Blaze dodged it and sighed. He zipped to Dynama, his boosters opening up.

If he was gonna do this quickly and without getting burned, he'd have to use the one thing he hasn't used in years.

His Blazing Speed.

"LEEET'S BLAZE!"

Her boosters lit up, and he zoomed to Dynama at top speed. He swung his sword and aimed to scrape every marking on Dynama, causing the dragon to snarl.

"You...!!!"

She snapped her jaw to grab him, but he dodged her too quick. Finally, she managed to scrape off the last marking, causing Dynama to scream in the pain as her whole body erupted in darkness.

"Dynama!!" Blaze gasped.

The darkness burst out, and she began to scream before falling. When she reached the ground, the flames gave away, and she laid on the ground, knocked out in her truck form.

Blaze sighed and flew over to her. He was about to check on her when his sister's scream echoed through, and he turned to see Cryo grasping a knife at Sparkle's face.

"Cyro... put the knife down..."

"Mm-hmm… and why should I?" Cryo smirked and neared the knife to the girl's face. "Give me a good reason why I shouldn't kill her in the spot?"

"Because..."

This was the hardest decision Blaze could make, but... he had no choice.

"You could kill me."

"Repeat that again?" Cryo raised an eyebrow.

"You could kill me. A guardian's duty is to keep those he loves safe from harm. For Roarian, it's the animals and the forest. For me... it's my friends and family. I'm willing to do anything to save them." Blaze declared.

Cryo smirked. "Good choice. Shaw?"

From behind Blaze, Shaw held out the gun and nodded.

"B-Blaze..." AJ trembled tearfully.

Blaze gave him and the rest of his friends and family a sad smile before closing his eyes to meet his fate.

This was it

His decision.

No turning back now.

Just as Shaw was about to shoot, however, a dragon's roar from outside caught everyone's attention.

"What?!"
