Chapter 5

Iris POV

After the urmm 'abs' incident at lunch, i should've expected this but even though i had prepared for it, it didn't make me any less pissed off in Science when Holly kept saying randomn things like

"Ohh that's ABSolutely interesting right Iris? I know you find things like this ABSolutely awesome" and breaking down in tears of laughter. Stupid Best Friend i thought.

The day passed slowly after that and i was walking to my last lesson, History. I walked in and no one was here yet. I sat down in my normal seat next to the window and just gazed outside. This lesson was only good for one thing, the view. You see once you braved the 3 flights of stairs to get here you could see the woods next to the schol, the trees would reflect the sunlight of their glossy leaves which often left a green tint on the table. I loved it.

As i gazing Holly and Zack sat down opposite me and Holly said

"Your not still obsessing over the green majical light right?" She found it wierd, but i didn't understand how, It was beautiful. She's just stupid. I heard Zack make a annoyed sound and glare at me, haha don't read my thoughts then idiot.

Then Holly started talking again, "or do you find it *laughs* Abs- Abs *laughs*" She didn't finish because i started thinking zackyyyyy make her shut up or i'll accidently tell her and he started sucking her face off. Oh God was there no other way to keep her distracted. I saw Zack smirk from

the corner of his mouth and i heard a thump beside me, Oh Joy it was Chase. He sat here all the time but todayit annoyed me.

"Iris, I need to speak-" he started saying quickly but hell no after today, i didn't want to hear his voice.

"No" i said simply but he just looked at me and opened his mouth to speak again and i slipped my headphones in. He just stared at me wierdly, he looked angry that i ignored him but there was another emotion there, shame. Maybe, he finally understood how much he hurt me today.

but my music stopped when someone tapped me on my shoulder, i turned around and saw Mitch smiling down at me.

"Hi, I- I- I just wanted to ask if you wanted to go for dinner after the movie?" he stammered.

I smiled at him and opened my mouth to reply when i was interrupted by Chase who just glared at Mitch and snapped "No she doesn't and cancel the movie aswell" Arghh Who the hell gave him the right to talk for me, I mean i didn't really like Mitch that much because internally my wolf was screaming for Chase but hell no my human side was taking over now. I don't want a mate, and i especially don't want to be Chase's mate. He's a man slut and a jerk.

Mitch just stood there awkwardly and stammered out "Shouldn't she answer?", I looked up at him and saw he looked confused so i just reched out for his arm and said

"Sure I'd love to, Don't mind Jerky here", Aww Mitch smiled his dimply smile. I thought it was cute but that was it. It was cute, i didn't find him attractive. He just walked off back to his table and the teacher came stumbling in, her hair was a mess and her blouse looked messy like she'd just pulled it on but everyone knew about her's and Mr Boris's urmm "meeting's"

I looked back at the table and saw Zack and Holly staring at me in shock, and Chase staring at me in anger.

"What?" i questioned him, If anyone had a right to be pissed it was me.
