Chapter 9

Iris POV

My eyes started to shut and i could feel my heart giving up on me. Then i felt something on my lips, something that was sending sparks and electricity through my entire body. Suddenly the burning sensation was gone from my throat and i could feel my entire body starting to heat up.

Was Chase kissing me?

But i didn't want him to?

Did i?

Then suddenly i heard a yell and the lips were ripped off mine, I could faintly hear two people, two guys arguing.

"What the hell do you think your doing?" I could recognise that voice anywhere, Chase.

"Well, she needed to breathe so i helped." I had never heard the voice before. Who was it? and if Chase was shouting at him does that mean he kissed me.

"SHE'S MY MATE!" So he had felt it, so he lied. I had been through hell and back because of his stubborness, then i realised something i didn't want this too. So why was it killing me inside that he didn't want this.

"Well if she's your friend, why the hell were you walkng away?" So he definitely wasn't a werewolf or any sort of creature, he was just a human.

Then i felt someone walking towards me and laying a coat on top of me, thats when i remembered i was naked. I could feel the blood rising through my body into my face as i opened my eyes. I was staring into ice blue eyes.

"Hey, Your awake. So How do you feel?" he said in a caring velvety tone.

I just lay there not knowing what to say. I looked behind him and saw Chase standing there, He was totally naked and that thought made me blush to the extent you could probably fry a egg on me. When he saw me looking at him, he smirked, still a jerk.

But his smirk vanished when this blue eyed guy touched my cheek, he leapt forward and ripped his hand off me. "DON'T TOUCH HER" he yelled and the guy just loooked at him not fazed at all.

"Listen mate, she needs to get medical attention and i'm a trainee doctor so how about you let me do a quick check before she goes hospital." he said and this time i could see Chase seemes to finally understand he could help.

 Then he leant back over me, "Hi My names Damian. I'm just going to check your eyes and senses so follow my finger please." Then he moved his finger in front of my face and started moving it around. I kept my eyes focused on it.

After another 10 minutes of checks he said, "You seem to be fine, your body seems to decomposed of all the erm bleach inside you. I still think its wise if you go hospital" I just shook me head and stood up clinging onto the coat.

He got up and handed me a slip of paper, "You should call me sometime, meet upfor a coffee" he said and then he did something that shocked me, he knelt down again and kissed my cheek making me blush and making Chase grab him and throw him off. He didn't even care, he just got upi and walked off.

I lifted my hand and touched my cheek where he had kissed me, when suddenly Chase grabbed my hand. "What? Did you enjoy it? That's disgusting" he spat at ,me. I looked into his eyes and saw anger and i swear it was masking another emotion. It was masking hurt.

But i didn't have time for him right now, I needed to sort myself out. I got upi and glared at him. "I'm disgusting, I'm the one who almost kissed me and then made out with a slut, I'm the one who made someone drink bottles of bleach because they didn't want to feel pain anymore, I'm disgusting? Listen, I dont care what my wolfs saying I will not be with you."

He seemed to be awe struck and hurt. He looked down and whispered 3 words that made me feel so many emotions "But I'm your mate"

But i wasn't having it, I will never forgive him, I will not be hurt again. Even as i said it i knew i would forgive him and he would probably hurt me again so i stared right into his eyes ans stepped closer till pur faces were right in front of  each other.

I had a sudden urge to kiss him and leaned forward a bit more, then he shut his eyes and leaned forward. I snaked y head to his ear and whispered

"Your my mate? Listen your my best friend's brother, your a jerk and I HATE YOU!" i yelled the last bit got up and walked off. As i was walking i heard him coming behind me. He grabbed my wrist and looked me in the eyes.

"Do you mean it?"

I glared at him, the guy who had almost killed me, the one who i was falling for.

"Every last word."

He let go and shifted, and took off in the opposite direction . And something told me he wasn't going to be back for a long time.

Alot can happen during that time.
