Chapter 22

Iris's Dad POV

I watched the video over and over again, each word coming out of her mouth was like a fresh stab to my heart.

"Help, Please Help me" she screamed, my heart was yearning for me to throw the laptop out of the window but i had to watch it. Now another women came into the screen, "You know what we want don't you, If you even try to stop us, defy us or help your daughter we will kill your child, then we kill her and then we kill you. Goodbye"

Beads of sweat fell down my face as tears began to form in my eyes. How was i meant to choose between my old family and my new one.

Iris POV

"I'm coming to get you" I heard Chase shout as i ran down the stairs and into the kitchen, you see we had been making out but i felt like being evil so i accidently touched his "friend" then ran off. I jumped into the store closet only keeping the door open a tiny bit so i could see where he was.

He came into view, Damn him he had taken his shirt off probably to lure me out. It was working, all i wanted to do was touch his body and make -

He disappeared from view for a second then the door was yanked open, how the hell did he know where i was?

"You spoke out loud, kind of stupid but hey if you want to touch me feel free", he smirked after the last line so i pushed myself onto him and ran my hand down his chest and slowly onto his trousers making him groan. Now it was my turn to smirk as i pushed him back with all my strength causing him to fall.

I laughed and ran into the garden but i was immediately picked up and thrown over his shoulder. I kept hitting his back and then hiss butt, Hey this is one of the few chances i can do that. I was put down ont he sofa and he lowered himself, being careful not to crush me. He left small kisses all over my neck and then started to move his lips to mine.

I closed my eyes and waited to feel his lips on mine but the kiss never came, i opened my eyes to find him leaning on the doorframe a massive grin on his face. "Something wrong?" he said chuckling.

Time to get even, "Oh Nothing, Just my boyfriend's a bit small if you get what i mean", His face dropped and started to go red. He opened his mouth to speak but closed it and stomped upstairs. Oh yes i had bruised his ego.

The phone started ringing and i went to get it,

"Hello"

"Hello Iris, It's your d-dad. I was just wondering if perhaps you'd like to go get something to eat."

What should i do? I have so many questions but i don't know if i should go.

"I'm not sure Dad" i said honestly.

"You can bring Chase if you want"

"Oh Ok then, See you Dad"

"Goodbye Honey"

Iris's Dad POV

"That's a good plan, well done" she said cackling in my ear. "We don't want dear old Jen getting hurt do we so don't pull any stunts"

"Of course not" i sighed, My hand closed around the piece of paper in my hand, should i risk giving this to Iris?
