*** Rafael's POV ***
I am pretty pleased with myself the next morning. I sleep in, waking with only the slightest headache from my night of heavy drinking. As I turn the shower on and inspect myself in the bright hotel bathroom lights I see the bite mark that Evelyn gave me on my shoulder. I touch the mark and try to recall every delicious detail.
I get myself hard just reminiscing. But I deny myself the pleasure of beating off to the memories because I resolve to see her again. I consider just showing up. I don't know the whole story, but her ex is staying with her apparently. I don't like that. But then I consider that my showing up is akin to him just showing up and I want to prove to Evelyn that I am better than that. So I decide to call.
It goes to voicemail. I listen to her message and leave my own, asking her to give me a call. My mind starts to wonder what she is up to. I am getting ready to leave, refreshed but dressed in last night's clothing when she calls back.
"Hey, I wasn't sure if I'd hear from you so soon." I answer.
I can hear her heavy breathing as she says breathlessly. "Same. I just finished working out."
"Mmm, now there's an image. Tight leggings and a sports bra? Skin glistening?" I describe what I imagine, again feeling my pants tighten in my groin area.
"Have you ever seen a sausage when it's bursting at the seams on a hot grill? Kind of like that." She remarks with self-deprecating humor.
"Well, my mouth is watering for another bite." I snappily reply. She laughs that rich, throaty laugh of hers.
"Alright, Romeo. What's up?" She inquires.
I suddenly feel shy admitting that I want to see her again so soon. I really don't want to freak her out, but I'd be lying if I said I could wait another 24 hours when I am just around the corner. "I want to offer my help with your unpacking. If I recall, we had a deal before everything and everyone got in our way."
"Yeah. I do recall that. I can't ask you to spend your Saturday helping me unpack, though. Plus the potential of having to deal with my ex who is being a real asshat." She attempts to warn me off.
"Well, you didn't ask. I'm offering. And as far as your asshat ex is concerned, I'll behave." Or at least I'll try. I have a feeling this guy is trying to cling to the best thing to ever happen to him. He is either really desperate, really dumb, or both. It seems so obvious that Evelyn never wanted the same things as him. I have no problem giving him a demo of just how over him she is, but again, I'd try my best to follow her lead.
"He saw us last night." She blurts out and I can't help but grin proudly. She continues. "I don't know how much, but enough that his green-eyed monster flared up."
I laugh out loud. "Is that your nickname for his dick or something?"
"No! You've never heard that phrase? It's a way of saying he was jealous." She explains.
"Oh, I much prefer my interpretation." I laugh again.
"And this is why it isn't a good idea to have you over. I still plan on coming to your family's tomorrow, if that's what you're worried about." She tries to ease my mind.
"Yeah but I want to see you today. Plus, you're probably way behind schedule. Let me help. Is he there now?" I ask.
"No." She answers.
