Maya got done with her performance finishing with a Taylor Swift song while she went to her room. She exhaled as she got into some sweatpants and a sweatshirt hearing a knock on the door. Opening it she was shocked with who she saw.
"Josh! What are you doing here?" Maya asked embracing him as he smiled.
"I jumped on the first available flight to LA. I couldn't stand seeing you so unhappy as you were the other day," Josh said as Maya pulled away.
"It wasn't needed for you to come all this way," Maya said.
"Yes, it was. Maya, I still like you. I never stopped. Let's get you out of this place," Josh said as Maya exhaled.
"I can't. And I know that. My parents are gone. I don't have a home anymore," Maya said as Josh looked at her.
"Then I'll tell you what. You're moving in with me. And no, I don't want to hear anything. Maya, I love you, and I realized that the other day. So let's end this long game and just be together, hey? Doesn't that sound good?" Josh asked as Maya nodded crashing her lips into Josh's.
He pulled her closer placing his hands behind her head as she threw her arms around his neck while both knew nothing else mattered. They just needed to be together. And they were.
