Josh exhaled as he looked at how Shawn was putting away the last few dishes while Katy was busy with Layla.

"I talked to Maya the other day. Doesn't sound like she's happy," Josh said as Katy looked at him.

"This is what she's wanted so now she has to eat it up," Katy said as Josh looked at the older woman.

"She's your daughter. Yeah sure. Maybe she's an adult but you never stop needing your mother. Goodness, I'm almost 22 and I still need mine. You guys can't do this to her. She's unhappy," Josh said.

"You do something about that then. We're not," Shawn said as Josh looked at the man.

"I have to get going. I'll see you guys later," Josh said as he went out of the apartment.

He arrived at his college dorm looking as his roommate was sitting in front of the television while he got an idea. Josh got his suitcase and laptop out.

"What are you doing?" Brandon asked.

"A friend needs my help. And no. I'm not going to just sit back and look how she is unhappy," Josh said booking a plane ticket.

"Where are you rushing off to then?"

"Los Angeles. I'll talk to Mr Jones tomorrow but I can't sit here and do nothing," Josh said as he put clothes into the suitcase.

"How long will you be gone?" Brandon asked.

"Don't know. As long as it takes to make me feel at eased that she's okay. I'll see you," Josh said as he went out of the dorm.
