Back then she was so young but now she was older and less wise as she had hoped for. She zipped up her suitcase as she took that and her backpack heading in front seeing as Shawn and Katy were busy playing with Layla. Maya put her things down as she went to pick up Layla.

"Hey, Layla-bear. Take care of Mom and Dad, okay? I'm counting on you," Maya said kissing her head.
"As long as you know the same counts for you. Take care of yourself in Los Angeles," Shawn said as Maya smiled hugging Shawn.
"I will, Dad. Ugh this is hard. Bye, Mom. Take care," Maya said as she grabbed her things going downstairs as she went out of the building seeing Josh as she exhaled.

"Just as I thought it couldn't get more difficult. Thought we said our goodbyes with the last dinner," Maya said.

"You did maybe. But I didn't. Besides I have something I want to give to you," Josh said handing Maya a box.

"When you get to your LA place open it," Josh said as Maya nodded hugging him.

"I'll miss you," Maya said keeping her tears back.

"I'll miss you too," Josh said as the taxi arrived.

Maya pulled away as he helped her to get her things into the car as she climbed in.

"Bye, Boing," Maya said.

"Bye, Gorgeous. Stay safe," Josh said as the car drove away.
