Chapter Three......Triple Shots
"Are youuuuu ready to partayyy SpongeBob?!"
"I'mmm ready to party, are youuuu ready to partayyyy Patrick?!"
"I'mmm ready to party, are youuuuu ready to partayyyy Mr. Krabs?!"
"I'mmm ready to party, are youuuu ready to partayyy SpongeBob?!"
"DADDY STOP IT YOU'RE EMBARRASSING ME!!"
Ok, so who really thinks that my dad would take part in the reenactment of a SpongeBob episode??
Anyone ??
Well if you did you're wrong!
Sadly, that was me and my best friends getting excited before the party we were getting ready to go to. And what's even sadder is the fact that, that was my OLDER BROTHER playing the part of Pearl.
We all started laughing hysterically at him regardless of how sad it was , because he created the perfect high-pitched voice of an annoying girl and it totally took us by surprise that he was even here. When my laughter subsided enough to stand up, I went to my brother and we wrapped each other in a hug before I asked him,
"Pearl, what are you doing home? The holidays are over already."
"Well its nice to know I'm wanted around here, but for your information I came this weekend because I heard my little sister was going to another party." Brandon said mischievously with a smirk on his face.
"Oh really? How'd you hear that?" I asked even though I already knew the answer.
"Jaz told me" he responded.
And I was right, my brother and Jaz had a thing last summer but when the end of summer came, they both decided that they would rather just be friends. But they're such good friends now that sometimes I think Jaz talks to Brandon more than she talks to me.
"Well that still doesn't answer why you came, did you just wanna watch me embarrass myself again?" I questioned playfully with my eyebrows raised.
"You know this!" Brandon said with a huge grin, but I saw something flash in his eyes that made me wonder if he was telling me the whole truth. I decided to let it pass for now, I had had enough of trying to read people's body language. We, of course, won the football game last night but I still couldn't stop thinking about my run-in with Mark. Eventually as time got closer to get ready for the party , that situation left my mind.
"Rachel, you in there, snap out of it!" Brandon shouted in my face.
"Wha-yeah, I'm here you idiot , what do you want?" I asked hotly. Jeez, I know I space out a lot, but no one should get all up in my grill like that, 'nah mean G? No? Don't hate on my gangsta skills people.
"Something to eat!" my impatient brother yelled exasperatedly, throwing his hands in the air.
"Well then go make something, I'm trying to get ready for this party" I told him rolling my eyes. Sometimes he acts so helpless for a 19 year old.
"Ray, you know I can't cook to save my life, do you WANT me to set the kitchen on fire again?" he asked
My eyes got wide as I remembered that happening over the summer,
"NO" I said quickly, "I'll be there in a minute."
He smiled victoriously and said, "good, I'll be downstairs, and don't take all day!"
