《《Benny's POV》》
I knew it was yeah-yeah who wrote the letter but I couldn't let Y/n know. I acted mad to see what was written.
~at the sandlot~
"Ok who's writing love letters to Y/n!?" I questioned as we walked into the sandlot. The boys stayed silent. I looked at yeah-yeah and he look scared. I winked at him letting him know I wasn't mad. He gave Squints a pleading look for him not to tell.
(Squints is the only other person that knows about yeah-yeah writing the letters but the rest of the boys know he likes her)
Squints looks down and says "I did.." everyone looked shocked. He walked up to Y/n. "D-do you like me too..?" He asked quietly. "Sorry Squints..but I got my eye on someone else.." she responded. Squints looked kinda happy but tried to hide it for the benefit of the secret. "O-ok.." he said. "Are we gonna play ball or what!?" Ham yells.
We play ball for a few hours until it was time to go home. We were going to the fair that night so we all had to go home early to get ready.
