The Ultimate Prank!

Chapter 3- Regulus Black

Sirius slowly opened the door of the astronomy tower and ascended the stairs. When he got to the top he saw his younger brother looking out over the edge.

"Hey Reggie!" Sirius greeted his brother. His brother jumped and looked over at his older brother and frowned.

"Do you always have to call me that?" He asked. 

"Why yes Reggie I do,"

Regulus rolled his eyes. The two spoke about the prank and Sirius asked who Regulus looked like.

"I didn't change appearance."

"How? Everyone did,"

"Not me because I don't like anyone,"

"Sure," Sirius said rolling his eyes. "I know you like someone and I'm gonna figure it out."

Regulus didn't get a chance to answer that when he heard the door open. Sirius spun around and faced the stairs. The person started climbing the stairs. 

"Alright Pads,"

"Prongs!" Sirius said greeting James. "This is my brother Regulus."

"The pleasure is mine," James joked holding out his hand while Sirius laughed.

Regulus rolled his eyes and shook his hand. The two made eye contact for a split second before Sirius cut through.

"So..." 

"Don't make things awkward!" Regulus snapped at Sirius. "Anyway, I should get going. Sirius, Potter." 

The two watched him leave and then turned back to each other.

"So why did u come up here?" Sirius asked James.

"I got bored and I wasn't gonna study with Moony and Evans,"

"Could've asked her out again if you went,"

"No because I'll get rejected again,"

"Finally! You realize she has no interest in you!"

"Thanks Pads," James said. "Wanna go back to the common room?"

"Yeah I suppose."

The two headed back to the common room chatting about hexing Snivilus again.

Regulus walked slowly back to the dungeons. Did he just run into James Potter? If Sirius found out he was the one who was the unknown James. I mean why did he turn into James? He hates him. He's so annoying. Pranking everyone on a daily and finding it fun. It's horrible. Regulus didn't know how lost in his thoughts he was because he was already at the portrait hole. 

"Salazar," Regulus whispered and the portrait hole opened up. He walked through and ignored the looks he got from everyone. He went straight to his dormitory. It was empty which he was thankful for because he didn't want to be talking to anyone right now. He sat down on his bed and thought long and hard. Did he like James Potter? No, he would know, right? 

He was dragged out of his thoughts by his door opening and closing. He looked over to see who was there and saw his two cousins. 

"Reg..." He heard Narcissa say. "Are you ok?"

"Yes of course I am,"

"You sure because you came back to the common room a mess and clearly had something on your mind," Bellatrix said

"I'm fine Bella!" 

"Reg, we're here for you." Narcissa said and sat down beside him.

"Who did you guys turn into this morning?" Regulus asked. The two girls were surprised with random change on subject.

"Um I turned into Lucius Malfoy," Narcissa said. Regulus sniggered a bit but pulled himself together.

"I turned into Rudolphus Lestrange," Bellatrix said looking down at her shoes. Regulus giggled. "It's not funny!"

"Kinda is," Narcissa said laughing behind her hand. Bella frowned at the two.

"So who did you turn into Reg?" Bella said trying to distract them from it.

"Um It's weird because I don't even like the person but it was James Potter," 

"From Gryffindor?" 

"Yeah Weird right?"

"No I suppose you like him,"

"No I don't though,"

"Are you sure?"

"No I'm not sure to be honest. I mean it worked for everyone else so maybe I do but I don't know,"

"Reg Calm down, You'll figure it out but now is not the time,"

"We have some revenge," Bella said with a grin on her face. "Pranking the marauders back which is gonna be fun."

The three burst out laughing and went down to the common room to start planning. They were up all night figuring something out that would really get them back.

"How do they do this on a daily?" Lucius asked running his fingers through his hair looking really stressed.

"Wait! I have an idea!" Regulus said and started writing down on the paper and handed to all them to read. They all agreed and began to work it out so it would work.

"You sure this is gonna work?" Severus Snape asked. "Because I want to get those assholes back!"

"Yes it's gonna work," Regulus assured them. "Now, I need someone to come with me so I can put the spell on the entrance of the great hall."

"I'll come," Narcissa said raising her hand. 

"Me too!" Bella said standing up.

The three left and headed to the great hall. 

"Ugh I'm so bored!" Sirius complained lying on the sofa in front of the fire. James agreed and continued to let his snitch fly away and catch it again.

"Where's Wormtail?" James asked Remus, not liking the absence of someone enjoying him playing with his snitch. 

"Apparently, he asked Professor Dumbledore to have a transfer to Hufflepuff so he could be with his girlfriend,"

"And.... What did Dumbledore do?"

"I don't know but I haven't seen him since breakfast."

Sirius growled. "Traitor!" 

James went back to letting his snitch fly away and catch it again. 

"It's getting late so I'm going to bed," Remus said and got up closing his book. James and Sirius followed him yawning and stretching.
