My room was searched and literally cleared out the next day. All cameras were taken out of my room, along with everything else. Even my fucking bed! I had to get new stuff, I don't really know why, I wasn't really paying attention.
Though it wasn't really a problem since I slept with Dante, very rarely would we sleep in my room. The only thing was, my clothes. They didn't get rid of them, but there wasn't anywhere to put them. Dante put some of the clothes in his room, the others were in Cass's and Liv's room.
Everyone knows Gio is back, and he's going to tight, so things have been tight for the past month. A large amount of security, lots of rules for me- which include no waterfall runs!
But for the last week, there has been talk about an event, I don't really know and I don't ask. It's not like Dante has said anything. It's mostly the others.
"Okay, we are going into town tomorrow. I got a reservation- James talked to Dante and he told me both are coming with us, so Cass, you can finally meet the boyfriend! Alex said he has the day off too so it works out as well!" Liv exclaimed and Cass clapped her hands together.
"I'm so excited. What about you Cal, happy to get out of the house?" Cass asked and turned to me.
"Yeah... um... what are you guys talking about though?" I asked and both of them gasped.
"What the hell?" Both yelled in unison.
"The ball..." Liv said and waited for me to reply, but I didn't, I shrugged my shoulders. "The yearly ball... c'mon, you have to know. Mafias host it, it's a night where we all get along, no weapons, drinks, charities, raffle..." She listed. "Seriously Callie?! You date the fucking leader of a Mafia and you don't know about the goddamn ball?!
"No." I giggled. "I've never heard about it. I've been here for over a year and I still don't know."
"Because in March of last year, you were a maid who was clueless." Cass said.
"Oh yeah." I muttered. "So why am I going? To this ball."
"Because." Liv said. "It's invitation only."
"I haven't gotten one." I said.
"Of course should haven't. You're Dante's date."
"But- wouldn't he be embarrassed or something?"
"Why don't you ask him now?" Cass said as she and Liv got up to her feet. She winked at me then began to walk out of the kitchen, whispering something to Dante as he walked over to me. His face turned white. Yep, I was right. He wasn't going to ask me. I would embarrass his ego, he doesn't date, he is known for sleeping around whenever he wants.
He continued to walk up to me as he avoided eye contact. "It's fine. You don't even need to say anything." I muttered as I got off the stool to walk away. "You're embarrassed, I get it."
"I'm not embarrassed." He scoffed, "I didn't ask you because I didn't want to drag you somewhere you didn't want to be. It can be quite boring and it is full with a lot of people."
"I would've gone."
"You still can kitten. I would love if you would go with me."
"You would?" My eyes brightened as I smiled.
"Of course." He chuckled.
"Well maybe I don't want to go." I joked and he frowned.
"Shut up, you're coming with me." He rolled his eyes and I giggled.
"So when is it?"
"Three days."
"I hate you."
