There is a time gap in this chapter and it takes place weeks after last chapter, that chapter took place weeks after that chapter before. Dante is not pushing Callie in any ways.

Also, there is going to be a happy ending.

Callie's POV:

"Let's go for a run." I whispered, it was 1am, Dante was half asleep, laid on his stomach with the sheets tousled around him. "Cherry." I whined and nudged his shoulder.

"Baby, just wait till the morning." He mumbled and turned his head to the other side. I huffed and pushed up on top of him, straddling his back. "I have a knot in my back, can you get it while you're back there?"

"Stop." I pouted and playfully slapped his back.

"No, that wasn't the spot. Try going softer." He had humour in his tone and I didn't like it. "I can feel you pouting from here kitten." He pushed an arm back and I felt his hand squeeze my ass. "I will run with you before I work."

"But I wanna go now." I huffed.

"Don't be whiny." He mumbled.

"We won't go for a while." I muttered and crossed my arms.

"Fine, then you're going to bed." He sighed and pushed up, while I was still on his back. Do I really weigh nothing on him. I squealed and jumped off him and he chuckled. "Oh look, you're already dressed."

"We haven't gone on a run in so long." I shrugged, he pulled on shorts and a sweater. I wore leggings and a long sleeve shirt. "I'll get the keys."

"The keys-" he asked as I skipped out of the room. "Kitten?" I went down the stairs and got his keys off the hook as he followed me, totally confused.

"I'm driving too. You're too sleepy still." I opened the front door and unlocked the doors. I heard the front door close and his footsteps behind me.

"Where exactly are we going?" He asked after getting in the passenger seat and I started the car.

"My running spot." I said and pulled past the guards, smiling and waving at them slightly, a guy waved back. Then I pulled onto the dead road turning left.

"You do know how early it is." He mumbled and I nodded. We drove in silence for a few minutes down the straight road. I pulled off road and he jumped forward, I giggled. I wasn't that far off the road. "Is this like a hook up spot or something." He smirked.

"Stop Cherry. This is where I like to go sometimes. It's like my get away." I opened the door and got out, taking out the keys and towing them on the dash. "Let's go." I took his hand then turned on the flashlight of my phone, lighting up our path so we didn't eat dirt.

"Kitten- you know there are animals out here." He whispered and I shrugged. We walked through my usual rout. Dante put his trust on me. We finally reached the clearing. The stars lite up the place. I could hear the faint sound of the water falling from the stream. "So this isn't a run?"

"I guess not. I usually run, but I'm too tired too." I slightly giggled.

"You kill me." He muttered, I loosely held his arm as I brough him over to a rock ledge. The drop off lead you into the water. It wasn't a far fall either. I sat down, dangling my legs off the edge and Dante joined me. "Is this my land too?"

"Think so." I mumbled. "You're so rich you don't even care." I smirked and looked up at him.

"Why do you even like this place? You're usually the one to be terrified about getting eaten alive." He put his arm around my shoulder, pulling me to lean against his frame. "And it's kinda cold."
