"Mama!" Darcy whined, tugging on your pant leg. You looked down at the tiny four year old, from where you were standing at the stove, making her lunch. With Harry at the studio for the day, it was just you and Darcy.

"Hold on, baby, Mama's working on it," you promised, grimacing as one of the twins, Finn, he was on your left side, gave you a particularly hard jab in the ribs. You pressed a hand to the throbbing spot, before rubbing your hand over your over sized belly, all you could find that would fit at this point was one of Harry's t-shirts, but even that was a stretch. At thirty seven weeks, you could have them at any time, but you were going to let them come on their own. You shifted around a little, your ankles protesting standing this long. You sliced her grilled cheese in half, waddling over to the sink to wash some carrots, before putting her plate together.

"Come sit down, baby," you sighed, setting her plate on the table. Darcy climbed up on one of the kitchen chairs, and you struggled to scoot her closer to the table, feeling out of breath when you did. You sank down into the chair opposite her, heaving a sigh of relief, kicking your feet out.

You rested your hands on your belly. You really should make yourself something to eat, but you didn't want to get back up. You closed your eyes for a second, but they shot back open when you heard a clunk and then a splash, as Darcy's cup of apple juice toppled over, spilling all over the table and the hardwood floor below.

Darcy looked over at you sheepishly, as you groaned. "It's okay, I'll get you some more." It took a second to heave yourself from the chair, grabbing the overturned cup and filling it back up with juice.

Once Darcy had finished her lunch, she wanted to go outside to play, but you were starving and there was some laundry that needed to get done.

"Mama, can we please, go play?" she demanded, tugging on your hand.

"Just a minute, baby. Mama needs to eat some lunch too." And come to think of it, you really needed to pee.

Darcy stuck her lips out in a pout, looking so much like Harry, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Go play in the living room for a little, and then we'll go outside, okay?" You cupped her chin in your hand, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

She nodded, scampering off towards the living room. You made yourself a sandwich, settling back down at the table, but after a few bites, your stomach squished by two active babies, you felt full.

Getting up slowly, you hissed in pain, at your sore feet and hips, tears starting to well in your eyes, as you felt more and more overwhelmed, noticing the spilled juice, the dishes piling up in the sink, knowing that you'd have to climb the stairs to do the laundry, the fact that the boys wouldn't settle down, and that your feet were sore.

You sniffled, picking up your phone. It took a couple rings, but then his voice came through the other line.

"Hello, my love," he said.

"Harry," you cried. "Harry, I need you to come home."

There was a pause. "Oh my God! Are you having contractions? Are you okay? I'm leaving right now, hang on, baby," he said in a rush.

"No, no, I'm fine," you cried, your voice thick with tears. "I just can't do it all by myself. Darcy just wants all of my attention, but I haven't really eaten today, and my ankles are swollen, and the boys won't stop kicking me, and I really need to pee, but laundry needs to get done, and...I," you broke off, another sob breaking from your throat. "I just really need you to come home."

"Sweetheart, don't cry," he cooed. "Go sit down on the couch, I'm coming home right now, I'll take care of everything okay? Just go relax."

You nodded against the phone. "Okay." You wiped at your wet eyes.

"Hey, hey, I love you, don't cry, it's okay," he promised. "Are you sitting down, yet?"

You laughed. "I love you too."

You put the phone down, shuffling over to the couch a sinking down onto it, propping your legs up.

You heard the keys in the lock and the front door open a few minutes later, Harry stepping inside, you heard the rustling of his jacket and the heavy knocking of his boots on the floor.

"Daddy!" Darcy squealed.

"Hi, lovebug," he exclaimed.

He came around the corner, into a living room, Darcy on his hip. You looked over at him.

"Hey," you whispered.

Harry smiled. "Hi, baby," He kissed Darcy's cheek, before setting her down, and walking over, sitting down next to you, putting his hands on your belly, leaning in to kiss you gently. "Are we doing okay? What do you need, baby? Are you hungry?"

You nodded. "I made myself a sandwich, it's in the fridge." Harry was up before you finished, grabbing it for you, pouring you some water, and bringing it back over to you.

"Thanks, love," you whispered, taking a bite.

"Of course. Don't worry about the laundry and the dishes, I'll get them. Why don't you relax for a while, I'll take Darcy to the park, and when we get back, I'll put her down for a nap, and you and I can take a warm bath, does that sound good?"

You smiled tearfully, nodding, and Harry leaned over to kiss your forehead. And you felt so grateful, for him, wondering how you had gotten so lucky, to have someone like Harry.
