Chapter 2

I forgot to warn you I am bad at spelling

"A child of Athena!" I said in shock."Are you sure, I mean is this a joke?How can I Annabeth Chase be a child of Athena?"

"Things will start to make sense soon I hope."My dad said."In the meantime you can ask me any questions you have."

Oh boy this will take a while.

"First of all how did you meet Athena?I mean she is a GREEK GODDESS!"I asked,  my head spinning.I felt like I was going to faint.  "Oh um ah I kinda just saw her on the sidewalk looking dashing and um I ah asked her for her phone number and she was all like ,I don't have one but here's my address, 

Then she handed me a card. boy was I surprised of what I saw,  MOUNT OLYMPUS  6OOth FLOOR , EMPIRE STATE BUILDING, NEW YORK.So I was like there is no 600th floor on the empire state building and she was like oops.

 Then it kinda just went from there she told me she was a Greek goddess, we got to know each other, got married had you but then she had to leave.I haven't heard from since well that is in till just before you came home she sent me a letter saying you needed to go to a camp called camp half blood were all demigods go.A demigod is half god, what you are .Anyways you have to get there as soon as possibal. In fact quickly go pack."

Dad was talking so fast that I just heard him.He sounded nervous, I don't blame him I was feeling rather nervous myself.I hurried upstairs to pack.I got my favorite bag and put in 3 notebooks some clothes and other precious belongings including a picture of me and my dad.I took one last look at my room and walked downstairs.I found my dad starting the car.He told me to get in quickly because my stepmom just texted him to tell him she and the kids would be home soon.

"Um dad were exactly is this camp?"I wondered.

"Its on a strawberry farm.But you don't need to worry I know exactly where it is."Dad replied.

The ride was pretty quite from then that is in till I asked suddenly what he was gonna tell my currant school. Which he answered that he would tell them that I got bitten by a snake and that I was currently in hospital dealing with THE CASE OF A DEADLY SNAKE BITE! 

I just stared at him.Anyways soon enough we were in front of a twisted tree that looked like a doorway.  

 "Come on I said to my dad.

 By the way this is not a strawberry farm."I told my dad. 

 "Looks like one me. Also Annie I forgot to say I can't go through this 'doorway' so just keep walking straight and someone should be there waiting for you.Bye I'm going to miss you so much." I walked over to my dad and hugged him tight.

Then I turned and walked through the doorway.Finally  after walking straight for about 5 min I came across  a man in a wheelchair.         

 "Ah you must be Annabeth, How do you do? I'm Chiron."Chiron held out his hand which I shook.

As me and Chiron walked to the big house I-Wait a minute how did I know the name of the big house?Suddenly everything started to feel familiar I felt like I had been here before.But how?

And sorry if this chapter was a bit short.
