Oh wowwwwww. I can't wait. Today's the day that we leave camp to go on our Quest,

I quickly pack a bag with the things I think we might need. A torch, rope, sleeping bags, food,Compass, water...and of course weapons. I bring a special dagger Luke gave me. I know that daggers and smaller then swords but I feel more connected to my dagger.I have no idea why. Strange.

Sophie is packing as well.Once we both have finished we go to the Hermes cabin to wait for Percy.....Um I think he will take a while.....He is probably still sleeping........Oh I wish he would hurry up.

After what seems like Forever  Percy finally walks through the door. With no backpack. I sighed.

"Have you packed yet?"I say knowing the answer.

"Pack? What fo- , Oh yeah I better go do that."He walks back inside the cabin.

"Boys."I hear Sophie grumble.

I nod my head in agreement.

Finally Percy meets us with a packed bag and a sword tied to his waist.

"Okay we have to go north." I say with a confident nod.

We were outside camps boarders now so we had no protection from monsters.

"Uh what exactly are we looking for?"Percy asks.

"Um..I'm not sure yet.Maybe for a sign or something."I say disappointed that we had no leads.

All around us was a thick dark forest. We traveled for a bit in till  we come across a camp of empousa. Empousa's  are the servants of the goddess Hecate.  They have completely white skin, flaming hair, fangs, one bronze leg and one donkey leg, and red eyes.

I shuddered. I had heard of Empousa's before in my history classes. They are something you don't want to come across. But we needed to get past them.Which is not easy.

I motioned for Percy and Sophie to follow me. I crept on the edges of the camp using my compass to find north. We were going good in till a very loud branch snapped under Percy's feet. I stayed very still hoping the Empousa's had not heard that. Unfortunately someone did hear.

"What was that?"The empousa closest to us said, "Did anyone hear that?"

"No Kelli."One of her camp mates replied ,"But we should go check it out.Kelli and I will go scout the area. You and you stay here."She said pointing to 2 empousa's who were laying on the floor. She was probably the leader.

"Come on Rhea lets go." Kelli said impatiently.

I braced myself.

"Run"I whispered to Sophie and Percy. We run north with Kelli and Rhea hot on our trail. They were catching up.We kept running in till we were at a dead end.

Kelli and Rhea closed in on us.

"Hello darlings"Rhea cooed, "I think it's time for a tasty snack don't you think?"She added turning to Kelli who nodded.

Rhea and Kelli opened their mouth and snarled showing their pointy fangs.Their hair was catching fire. Oh man they looked terrifying. My brain started ticking away while my heart was thumping very quickly

Clearly we couldn't beat them in a fight but we could always outsmart them. I was hurriedly trying to remember something that might be able to help us. They were servants of Hecate. That's it.

"Hecate sent us."I said desperately.

Kelli looked at me with an eyebrow raised. She and Rhea closed their mouth.

"I'm listening."She said.

"Hecate told us to find you and tell you that she wanted you to find Zeus lightning bolt and give it to her."Sophie jumped in before I could think what to say.

"Ugh that's a terrible order."Rhea scoffed, "But I would think we would be aloud to have a nice snack before we go."

She and Kelli opened their mouths once again and slowly started walking towards us.

I was thinking that their was no hope when someone appeared out of the blue.

"Hecate."Kelli and Rhea said in perfect union. They kneeled down on one foot.

"Kelli, Rhea I would of expected more from you.Remember you have to do as I say and I say not to eat these innocent young demi-gods  and to go find Zeus lightning bolt."Hecate said in a stern voice not looking at us.

"Yes Ma'dam."

Kelli amd Rhea hurried off into the forest.

"Why did you do that?"Percy said beating me to the question.

"Well who else is going to beat Hera up?"Hecate said with a smile.

"Hera."Sophie says slowly.

"Yep.Up in Olympus a few years ago Athena and Hera had a big argument. The gods and Goddesses all had to pick a side. I chose Athena along with almost everyone else.Only Zeus and  Hephaestus sided with Hera.

I forgot what the argument was about. But Hera got angry that she had so few supporters that she took the memory from a random child of Athena to get revenge. And that was you  Annabeth Chase.None of the other Olympians thought that was fair so we all sided against Hera except for Zeus of course. So when we heard that you were going on a quest to get those memories we all decided to help you.But we can't do the task for you. Oh yeah for some reason Hades sided with Hera.

We don't want to hurt Hera we just want to teach her a lesson."Hecate finished off.

"So we have to find Hera and to get my memories back?"I say.

"Ah..I think another god might want to tell you that. You will meet them soon.

Oh and you might want to camp in this dead end for the night.I can put extra protection on it so you will be safe for the night. But I am afraid I can only help you a little bit more.So I will tell you crucial information you will need to know.

Okay so Hera is probably going to make it a hard task so remember you can not win in a battle against her but your best chance is to out smarten her.I wish you the best of luck."Hecate finished off fading away but not before flicking her hand which I guess was to give us protection.

Percy, Sophie and I set up a small camp.We put our sleeping bags against a big rock and started a small fire.

When I was laying in my sleeping bag that night all I could think of is that we had a lead. Hera.
