Annabeth Chase, Past Present and Future

Chapter 14

I woke up to a LOUD commotion outside of my tent. As soon as I was ready I poked my head outside the silver flap to see what the fuss was all about.

It Turns out some hunters were gathered around Artemis asking questions I probably should have asked earlier.

There were questions like

"How long in till we are going to reach the entrance to the underworld?"

"Are you going to be one of their alliances?"

"Will Hera be prepared; I mean she knows all but two gods are against her?"

My Head hurt. I know the questions were useful but...... I just... wanted a small break, if that's even possible right now. 

 But one question a hunter asked stuck out to me.

"How do you enter the underworld?" The huntress had asked.

Artemis began to answer the questions.

"We should take about 4 or 5 days, I am hoping to be an ally, Hmm I'm actually not 100% sure yet but well... Hera is Hera. Well actually I was hoping you'd ask that; we must set off for Hollywood as the entrance to the underworld is three big boulders under the Hollywood sign." Artemis said with a smile that said many things.

We were packing up the camp and heading for Hollywood. Once I finished packing up my tent, I tried to find Artemis. After a while of searching I found her feeding her two-pet wolf.

"Hi Annabeth, ready to go?" stops to tie her long golden hair up.

"Yeah, I was just wanting to ask you something really quickly, How exactly are we suppose to get my memories back?"

"Well, you need 2 gods to do this. I was hoping I could be one of them anyways, so you have the 2 gods who will help and one of them needs to put what we call a telepath stage which we allow you to enter Hera's mind which then you have to search for your memories and then take them." Artemis says.

"Just like that?" I say, I had thought it would have been more complicated.

"Just like that." Artemis says firmly.

Once the camp is packed up me, Sophie, Percy and the huntresses followed Artemis keeping a lookout for danger. Pretty quickly night came upon the forest that looked like it would end soon.

We made a camp and surprisingly we ran into no monsters. Yep not a single one.

A new day. Filled with more hope and more traveling. Like yesterday we ate breakfast and packed up the camp. We were going good in terms of land we had covered. We probably could reach Hollywood by this afternoon.

And we did, without running into a single problem. (Surprisingly lucky.)

I stared at the three big boulders that Artemis had described and shuddered. Hopefully there were no spiders down there I thought knowing that that was almost impossible. 

"Okay Me, Annabeth, Percy and Sophie will go." Artemis said.

"Um.... don't we need another god?" I asked Artemis.

"Yep Persephone is waiting for us. Just count on avoiding Hades." She replied.

We have made it this far and we are not turning around so easily. Hera we're coming for you.
