The bright sun peeked through the trees. Looks like paradise I thought.

"Good morning Annabeth, it's good to see you up."Percy smiles handing me some dried bacon.

I thank him and eat my breakfast against a big boulder.

We weren't far into the quest and I already felt like we had achieved something. Hecate's visit really helped.

"Okay where do you want to head today?"Sophie asks.

"I hope we meet this god/goddess that Hecate said would guide us soon."I say, " Maybe we should keep heading north?" I suggested.

"Sounds good." Percy said.

We pack up the camp and head deeper into the woods , gloomy yet full of life. The trees are endless. Birds are singing merrily. It feels like home.

"Look out." Sophie exclaimed suddenly staring ahead.

I fear the worst and slowly force myself to look ahead. I had been too busy daydreaming that I hadn't seen a GIGANTIC spider's web which was to my right. My foot was twisted in the carefully woven web. Crawling through the web were millions of spiders all different sizes.

I froze. Like almost all children of Athena spiders were my biggest fear. I would back away whenever I saw one. Let alone millions.

I trusted my instincts and ran north as fast as I could and as long as my legs would carry me, with a Scared Sophie and a confused Percy running right behind me panting for breath.

I didn't care about anything now. My thoughts were blurry. Percy were probably thinking It's just spiders. What's the matter? No, it wasn't any type of spider. These Spiders were bred to kill people with the blood of Athena running through their veins. Sophie would know this. Athena has a rivalry with the first spider ever.

Finally, I stopped at a small cave. I leaned against the rock wall trying to catch my breath. A few minuets late Sophie and Percy came to join me.

"What was that about?" Percy asked.

I had to explain it all to Percy with Sophie jumping it bits I didn't know.

Just as we wrapped up the story a strangely familiar man walked up to us. My first instinct was to move my hand over my dagger's gold handle.

"Relax I am not going to do any harm to you." The man said amused.

I couldn't quite put my finger to where I had seen him before. It wasn't in till I saw the tridents patterned around the rim of his robe.

"Oh Poseidon!" I say remembering where I had seen him before. I was learning about the Greek gods and goddesses before I came to Camp Half-Blood.

"Yes, hello Annabeth Chase, Sophie Parker and Percy Jackson, my son." Poseidon said fondly staring into Percy's eyes.

"Wot ?????" Percy mumbled surprised.

"I have been watching all of you. It's a good thing you left the spiders when you did otherwise you would have been the spider's dinner.

I hear Hecate has visited you. I believe she has told some important information. - we nodded-

Alright I need to tell you some more. But I need to hurry because Hera will wonder where I am. So, I can't tell you exactly what to do to recover your memories but I will give you a couple of clues, listen carefully.

The first clue is that you will find Hera in a place with lots of reflections in 1 weeks' time.

The second clue is that you will need to combine strengths and gain 2 allies to do the task.

Ah.... I think that's it." Poseidon says and then he vanishes with 2 waves of his hand but not before saying a quick goodbye.

Immediately my backpack feels heavier. I open it up and see a fresh new set of supplies. (Not like we used our original stock to much though.)

We decided to make another camp in the cave, so we camouflaged the cave with some green paint we made out of mud and scrunched up leaves, and also some branches. By the time we were done night had fallen upon us.

We ate a quick dinner  of sandwiches and rested our eyes. Maybe all of us were thinking the same thing, how grateful we were that the gods and goddesses were helping us.
