This one.... kinda freaked me out at first. But, I'm very glad I stuck with it. Just a heads up: not for kiddos. Imagine Tokyo Ghoul with wayyy more blood, then add some.... Adult... topics? Anyway, kiddos turn back now. Also, thisll probably get kinda spoiler heavy. It's only 12 episodes, and its dubbed on Hulu, so watch it if you wanna avoid any spoilers.

Devil's line, as previously mentioned, reminded me of Tokyo Ghoul. In the sense of tackling a theme with Demons living alongside Humans and what comes with that. The story follows a young woman and her relationship with a Vampire, also referred to as Devils in the show.

In a way, the show tackles modern day race relations. When the public finds out about Devils existing, due to some sick fuck with a knife on the news, theres riots saying to exterminate them, without any real understanding of how or why they drink blood.

In the end, despite constantly going "what the fuck" and skipping a scene or two (my cat's eyes will stay pure you damn dirty anime), I got really invested in the relationship of the leads. Even with how freakin weird this anime got, I straight up almost cried at the end. (Spoiler btw, watch after the credits on the last episode;3)

Unfortunately, it would seem the anime was not popular enough to green light for a season 2. However! That doesnt mean the anime doesnt have an ending, like a few others I got invested in. All I'll say, to avoid spoilers, watch after the first set of end credits on the final episode. It does pull the anime to a very satisfying ending.
