Full title> Captain Lazerhawk: A Blood Dragon remix
This is quite possibly the best video game based show in existence. Nothing else comes even close to how amazing this show is, and let me tell you why.
First things first, this show is made by Ubisoft, the owners of Rayman, Cyberpunk, Assassins Creed, and of course several other very popular series
This show integrates and references nearly all of these games in both big and small ways, namely in the characters and environment.
Captain Lazerhawk is based in a cyberpunk-style world, operated by a council that manipulates and controls nearly everything.
The primary Corporation, Eden, is what holds and pulls these strings. And of course with a dystopia comes a rebellion.
The namesake of the show, Captain Lazerhawk, is of course the primary character. However focus is also heavily shown on the addition of Rayman, an Alien Refugee manipulated and lied to by Eden.
As always, I won't go too detailed as to avoid spoilers. And of course this show is still going, with a season two already announced and being created. It should also be mentioned this show is rated MA, and that rating is very very justified.
The show has swearing, often violence, dirty dance with no pants, and....
Oh yeah. ON SCREEN EXECUTION AND DISMEMBERMENT.
So yeah, only grown folk for this one. Also definitely Epilepsy warning, don't forget that part.
Each episode is a bit under 30 minutes, and the first (currently only) season is 7 episodes.
I 1000% recommend this to anyone who likes any of the following:
Sick anime fights, betrayal, gayness, Ubisoft references, dystopia themes, cyberpunk, Rayman, and Frogs.
However if you don't like gayness, might wanna stray away from this. Because the namesake and lead character is actively homosexual, with a very hot boyfriend.
