This is an Anime Movie by my personal favorite company, Studio Ghibli! So fore-warning, I may be a bit biased
I just recently watched this movie, and I really liked it.
For those of you who haven't seen this movie, it's about a 13 year old witch girl named Kiki. Kiki leaves home (as is tradition in this movie) to go find a new city and train for a year. Don't worry I won't spoil anything else for you guys
So pretty much my only nitpick is regarding the side characters. The movie doesn't really flesh out any of the characters aside from Kiki, Gigi, and the boy she likes. And I'm still debating if the boy counts, his entire personality is 'i like flying, can you fly Miss Witch?'.
Sure, the lady Kiki works for is nice, but I literally had no idea about her family or backstory, she's just the mom away from home that Kiki needs.
But there is a good side character, you'll know who that is if you ever watch it so I won't spoil anything, she's actually my second favorite character after the cat
All in all, I'll give this movie a solid 9/10. Great main character, fine world building, and a clear story
