After Zac died, the rest of the doors to the academy opened, including the barred off front door.

Wisteria, Micah and I all left the academy, and the moment we left, my eyes flashed with the bright sun. It had been so long since I'd seen natural light.

We immediately started looking for help, we asked some people walking around for directions to the nearest police station. We went to the nearest one, we didn't say much to each other, we were still shocked to be alive.

Out of nowhere, I started bawling as we were walking. I collapsed and fell to my knees.

"Whoa hey, I understand you miss everyone, but you gotta keep it together, we have to get to the station to do what we can." He paused and gave me a peck on the cheek. "You'll be okay, we're safe now."

I softly nodded, and Wisteria smiled.

We walked into the police department.

"Hold on, I'll be with you in a-" The receptionist paused. "You-! You kids are missing!"

"Yeah, we are." Wisteria said.

"We need to speak to Sheriff Rux." I said.

"Sure thing." She said. She walked into the back office, and out came a tall, fit, Hispanic man, with a friendly demeanor.

"You kids got some explaining to do." He said.

"We will, but first we'll need a ride somewhere after." Micah said. "We'll stay with the Mayday family."

We sat down in his office. I handed him Jack's medical license, and he started to tear up.

"I see." He said. "Was he good to you?"

"He was a friend to all of us." I said. "He actually loved me romantically, it's a shame he couldn't..."

"Well, what happened to you guys?" He asked.

"Well, we have quite the story to tell you."
