Chapter 2

I woke up feeling horrible. I felt like because of me Jessie was dead, even though if i didn't figure it out, we'd all be dead.

When I walked outside my room, Ryan was waiting for me.

"Hey." He said.

"..Hi." I replied.

"Can I talk to you on the way to breakfast?" He asked.

"Sure." I said, smiling at him.

We started walking towards the dining hall, and he began speaking to me.

"Thanks for sticking up for me last night, I really appreciate it." He said.

"Of course." I smiled. "You didn't deserve to be accused like that."

"Tell me about it." He chuckled.

"I'm hoping nobody else has to die." I said.

"Me too." He replied.

We arrived at the dining hall, with everyone alive there.

"Getting buddy-buddy with Ryan hmm?" Ava snickered.

I ignored her.

"Breakfast Today is french toast!" Kristen blurted, coming out of the kitchen with a cart full of plates of french toast.

"Thank you!" Everyone except Ava said.

"I'll be making donuts again tomorrow." Kristen announced.

"Once again," I began, "Thank you for making breakfast!"

"Of course," She said, smiling and eating a lollipop.

Right about then, Monokuma showed up.

"Heya kiddos!" He said, as a couple of us groaned.

"Ah c'mon, why do you gotta be like that?" He said, with a sad face. "Ahem. Anywho, the 2nd floor is now available!"

"Explain please." I asked rather politely.

"Well, simply put, the 2nd floor isn't locked anymore. Some ultimate labs are up there." He replied.

"Who's?" Amos asked.

"Yours, Ryan's, and Vix's." He said.

"Anything else important up there?" Micah asked.

"Well, that's where the library is." Monokuma said.

"Ah." Micah said.

"Well go ahead and check it out!" Monokuma said before disappearing.

I followed Amos, Vix, and Ryan.

Amos looked very excited to see his new lab. He had a bunch of chemicals at his disposal, a chemistry station, some tesla coils to the left of the door, a big Wall of Vats on the right.

Upon entering, Amos changed his normally serious expression, and looked like a child who had been handed cotton candy.

"God, this is perfect!" he squealed.

"Nice." I smiled before leaving.

I looked in Vix's lab, and she promptly approached me. "You may examine my lab, but then I would like you to leave while I prepare it for myself."

"I can do that, yeah." I replied.

The room had multiple weapons in the locker, however it was locked. There were multiple targets in the shapes of wild animals, with accurate bullseyes where vital organs are on the animal.

There was a drawer that I opened, it was filled with ammunition, arrows, bullets, crossbow bolts, etc.

"Alright, now please leave, I do not want to open my weapon closet with anyone due to us being in a killing game." She said, "However, tell Jack, Amos, Micah, and Wisteria that I would like them to come to me. I would like to entrust them with a key."
