Mayday! Danganronpa: Dreams And Nightmares

Chapter 1

I woke up the next morning to the sound of a school bell ringing. A message played on the TV in my dorm. Monokuma displayed on the screen and began to make what seemed to be morning announcements.

"Good morning students!" He began. "Now everybody gathers in the dining hall for breakfast, and I have a new announcement to make you all aware of."

I got out of bed, looked in my bathroom mirror and brushed my hair using the hairbrush I keep in my backpack. However I couldn't get one bit of hair to be brushed, it kept popping back up. I ignored it and used the Monopad's map to direct me to the dining hall.

I noticed a bunch of doors with strange logos on them while I was walking down the hall. There was one with katanas as decorations on the outside wall, and another with planes, etc. I sorta ignored most of them.

I opened the door to the dining hall, and everyone was already there.

"Slept in?" Zac asked.

"Not exactly 'slept'" I replied.

Kristen came out of the kitchen with a bunch of homemade donuts for breakfast.

"Here, I couldn't find any syrup or toppings for pancakes, so hopefully you guys are okay with donuts." Kristen sweetly said to everybody.

Everybody started eating, and these were better than some of the better donut shops where I used to live. They were delicious!

"Well I'm glad everybody is enjoying themselves." Kristen snickered.

Vanessa walked up and gave Kristen a hug "Thank you." She said to Kristen.

"Mmhm. Of course." She replied.

Right about then, Monokuma appeared right before our eyes.

"Hello children!" He looked at everyone, who had just stopped stuffing their faces with donuts. "Oh, well I wanted to announce that everyone's Ultimate lab is now open! I see Kristen already found hers. The Ultimate Bakers lab! Or I guess we could just call it the kitchen."

"As much as I don't like the circumstances, I love the big kitchen for me to bake in." Kristen remarked. "By the way, Monokuma?"

"Yes?" He replied.

"I don't know what you can do, but can you by chance fill the lab with supplies for pancakes?" She asked.

"Sure thing, I may want you all to kill each other, but I still value you expanding your talents. I'll have those in before tomorrow morning." He replied.

"Thank you sir." She thanked.

"Anyhow." Monokuma resumed. "Your Ultimate labs will be a room for just you and your talent. It'll be filled with almost whatever you need. Jessie's and Austin's are right next to the dining hall. And Aika has an entire library to herself. I'm going to be honest Aika, I had no idea what to fill your room with. I gave you a big bookshelf, but if you need anything, just tell me."

"Umm. Okay." I said slightly reluctantly.

"Also, not everyone's lab is on this floor, as time goes on, more floors will be available. As we are still preparing them. But that's all I had to say, everyone can go do their own thing now." Monokuma vanished after walking out of the door.

"So I take it we are giving in to the bear?" Vix asked.

"What else can we do?" Austin said. "At this point it's either kill or be killed, but I have no intention of harming any of you."

"Well I don't want to work with any of you, because more than likely, one of you is planning to kill me as I speak." Jessie said.

"Hey don't assume that." I said.
