HUSTLE ALL OVER AGAIN

AUTHOR'S POV 

It was Monday and everybody was back in school with a hectic schedule and nerve-wracking pending assignments. Neph's day was no different. Right now she is sitting in physics class giving a not-so-pleasant surprise test. Well, let's just say that after the test was dropped on them like some badly written rap song, everyone was rather shocked than surprised and it would be safe to say that some were too deep into the shock, maybe questioning their existence. Anyways they did the test, it was 4th period that means it will be lunch soon when they all can finally breathe. As neph completed her test after 5 minutes the bell rang indicating lunch. She quickly packed her stuff and left to meet her friends and to feed something to her very much hungry stomach. As soon she spotted them on one of the corner tables she immediately reached over and picked up bread and stuffed her mouth without even sitting. 

NEPHELE'S POV 

I was just hungry as I stuffed my mouth with bread so suddenly, everybody stared at my face like I have horns growing on my head, " what ?" I said in between chewing my food . "at least sit down and then eat like a normal human " my BFF said, and that's wt I did without stopping from stuffing my mouth. We were just eating peacefully and chatting { they were doing the talking, I was too much into the food so I just kept nodding } but that didn't remain same as alizeh decided to speak "um.. wt are your guys' plans for prom ? I mean it's just some months away, got any date ?" and like that one more item was added on my to-do worry list. For prom, I don't even have pla-. I don't even have any plans of how I'm gonna complete my assignments without losing my head and now this ..... I'm soooo done. Like D.O.N.E . Who says being a student is easy? It's stressful, it's exhausting, it's anything and everything but just not easy. Now I need a date and I, personally have no idea how I'm gonna get one. Do you go to some shop or something 'cause if there is a shop that sells date then please give me the address I'll buy one for myself! Well as lunch was about to get over and the next class is English, I should worry about that first cause I have a presentation in that lecture. I can't seem to catch a break. 

JUNGKOOK'S POV 

It was one of those rare days when I attend my college like right now we are sitting on the bench. Me along with my BFF and some other friends/classmates 'cause we have this lecture-free. Something popped into my mind and I asked my BFF. 

jk: "dude, I forgot to ask. What happened with the girl you met in the club last Friday ?"

jungwun:  "Fortunately we clicked and yea... we are dating ig. I mean I'm meeting with her today later so all set. And thanks again for coming that night " 

jk: " That's great man, congrats ". After a while, I decided to leave but my BFF called me again

jungwun:  "kook do remember to buy that book I told you, that's the best in the market "

jk:  " ah yea ! will do, thanks. bye "

jungwun: "Bye ". Before I forget again I should go and buy it. So I reached a nearby book store and bought the book. While going back I ran into someone I didn't expect to see again. 

"Neph? how are you ? and what are you doing here ?" I asked her. 

NEPHELE'S POV 

I had to buy some stationery items for my assignment and also the physics side book so in place of going home I stopped at the stationery shop first, the only thing is left is the book. There was a book store right opposite to stationery shop, so I crossed the road and as I was about to enter I ran into someone. When I looked at who I ran into ... it was jungkook. Well what a coincidence, I didn't think we'll meet again. It wasn't like I didn't like him or something it's just that he is a college student, we have nothing in common so, anyways. He spoke up first   "Neph ? how are you ? and what are you doing here ?" he asked. 

Neph: " Oh! hi, I'm good. Just shopping for some stationary and I also have to buy a physics side book, what about you? you good ?"

jk: " Oh I see, yea... I'm all good " he stopped for a while and then spoke again " I was going for lunch, wanna join ?" and before I could answer he spoke again " well why don't you first buy your book and I'll wait here, then we can both go somewhere to eat . What say ?"  the idea didn't seem bad so I told him ok and asked him to wait as I got inside the shop and bought the book. 

JUNGKOOK'S POV 

There's nothing special as to why I asked her to join me for lunch as we don't really know each other, it's just that the last time we met I seemed to have offended her, tho I did apologize I just wanted to make up for it, that's all. So while she bought her book I waited outside and after 5 minutes she came out again. 

AUTHOR'S POV 

As neph had the car so they decided to get into her car and drive to a nice restaurant for their lunch. After a while of shuffling through the menu, they ordered their lunch, while waiting for their order jungkook advanced the talk

jk:  " so what's up? what's going on ". Neph sighed

Neph: " nothing, just assignment, and prom giving me a headache "  

jk: " Prom sounds fun "  

Neph: " yea...for those who have a date, not me "  

jk: " I'm sure there would be many guys in your school itself ". 

Neph: " I don't wanna go with anyone from my school ". jungkook frowned "and... why's that ?".

Neph:  " just ... don't wanna . Don't really have a reason. " neph said looking boringly at him

jk: "then, any plan on how you'll get a date ?" 

Neph: "NONE" he looked at her nodding. And just then their food came, they both dug in it. After that for 5 minutes none of them said a word, too absorbed in eating, then suddenly jungkook proposed an idea 

jk: " how about I'll be your prom date ?" neph looked at him and paused eating

Neph:  "You? why? I mean I don't even know you properly so why exactly will you do that for me ?" 

jk: " There is not really a reason why. You seemed worried or rather stressed about this whole date thing, and I happen to be free, as in I'm not dating anyone and I can adjust my schedule a bit. Just being the nice person I am if you don't want then it's your call. I don't find anything wrong with the idea tho "

neph thought for a moment, well she was stressed about finding a date this could help, and this really doesn't seem problematic for either of them. So she took a wise decision " Okie, let's go to my prom, you as my date " 

they both smiled a little at each other and then resumed eating. 

When neph dropped jungkook off at his college they exchanged their number. And as kook was about to go inside the gates he turned back took long strides towards neph's car and asked

 jk: "when is your prom again ?". 

Neph: " Oh yea... it will be on the first Saturday of next month i.e November " 

jk: "oh ok then bye, see you " 

Neph: " see you " they waved and then took different directions. 

A-YO, AUTHOR NIM HERE. FINALLY, SOME INTERACTION BETWEEN THE TWO AND THE PROM DRAMA, LET'S SEE WHAT HAPPENS AT THEIR PROM. UNTIL NEXT TIME, BYE BYE !!
