Nobody Compares To You

GRADUATION DAY

AUTHOR'S POV:

It was Neph's graduation day already, that one week went out in a blink of an eye and now here she sat in the 3rd row along with her fellow classmates with nervousness and excitement building up in her, and in a matter of time, she'll be a graduate student, out of schl looking for college and stuff...

Neph's father sat along with other parents, he kept one seat next to him reserved for kook as he was running a bit late, apparently got stuck in a meeting. After a moment or two ceremony finally started. The topper was called to the stage and was given her degree after which she gave a small gratitude speech and then one by one names od students were called on stage, Neph was getting anxious by passing minute she continuously kept looking in her dad's direction to see if he is here yet when finally he came in hurry and Neph's dad waved at him to call him and he sat beside him.

jk: " Good morning sir! did I miss smthg? "

Neph's dad: " Nthg important, her turn is abt to come u came just in time. "

Jungkook sighed in relief and look over at where neph was sitting and saw her looking in his direction already. He could tell by just the look her eyes how nervous she is, kook mouthed 'Fighting' and neph nodded a little when suddenly her name was called on stage she gingerly moved towards the stage and got her degree. Neph's dad and jungkook cheered and clapped in happiness and after the ceremony got over Neph got to both of them and hugged them. 

Neph's dad: " Ah congratulations my daughter, you made ur old man so happy today. I love u " 

Neph: " I love u too dad. " she said hugging him again. Her dad kissed her forehead in much affection. 

jk: " Should we go to some expensive restaurant to celebrate it over lunch? "

Neph's dad: " sure!!! let's do that. " 

 ~~~Time skip to after lunch~~~

Jungkook and neph were walking along the river holding hands when neph spoke up.

Neph: " Ah finally schl ended. But-"

jk: " But? " he said frowning 

Neph: " But now I have to worry abt my college, like what college to choose, what will happen to us and stuff. I don't want to worry abt these things already, but I can't help thinking abt it. " 

Jungkook pulled on neph's hand gently to make them stop walking and then he said-

jk: " If you don't want to think abt this stuff then don't, u'll figure out abt college and course and there isn't anything to worry abt us. "

Neph: " But most probably I'll be getting into college outside the state. And I don't like long-distance relationship idea. " 

jk: " Babe, just relax u think too much, life is too short and we are too young to worry abt everything at this moment, just believe in me ok? "

Neph nodded and hugged him with a small pout on her lips. Kook just smiled and kissed the crown of her head. 

jk: " ok sweetheart, I have a graduation gift for u. Close ur eyes. " he said happily. 

Neph: " Gift? " then she closed her eyes and felt kook taking her hand and placing smth on her hand. 

jk: " open ur eyes. " he said flashing his bunny smile. 

Neph opened her eyes and saw it was plane tickets. 

Neph: " Kook what's this? " she said looking at him with surprise.

jk: " I planned a trip to Tokyo with u, for a full week. U like it? " 

Neph: " Like? I love it. oh my god! thank u so much for this. " she said placing one hand over her mouth as she was surprised and touched at the thoughts of her beloved boyfriend.

jk: " No probs babe. Glad u liked it. We have to leave tomorrow morning." 

After which he kissed her briefly and they resumed their walk. 

Neph going to a different college, them being apart, Neph leaving her house... these were the things they didn't want to worry abt. Going to a different college isn't the end of them, there are endless possibilities out there. They were too young as kook said to worry abt commitments and complications, 'cause obviously, there will be complications and tough times, times where things won't necessarily work out their way, but nthg of this is the end of it. You can always take a break from all these heavy emotions, live a little more recklessly. Cause you wouldn't want to just pass the life now when u are young and regret later, u got to live life. That's what they are gonna do on that trip to Tokyo. This isn't the end of them, nor for anybody else... live a little recklessly enjoy life, love life, love yourself.
