PROM DATE

AUTHOR'S POV

Last month went by completing assignments and studying for tests by neph. She went to a shopping prom along with her BFF. kook was also busy with his college, studies, and company. There were so many meetings that he attended, also neph and kook talked a bit on chat, she informed him the date and time of prom. And it was decided that kook will pick up neph up from her house.

 And it was finally the day of prom. 

Neph was getting ready as it was already 7, kook must be arriving anytime now. She was doing a touch-up when the bell rang, she went down to open the gate but her dad has already let kook inside. When she approached them they were talking as if they knew each other already. 

NEPHELE'S POV 

"U guys know each other?"  I asked they both turned towards me and dad spoke

Neph's Dad: "honey you didn't tell me that you are dating jungkook?"

Neph: "I didn't tell you so 'cause we are not dating dad, we just know each other and he just my date for prom, that's all, but how do you guys know each other ?" I asked looking at both of them, 

jk: " your dad's company and our company are collaborating, we have met in meeting a few months ago " this time jungkook spoke up

Neph's Dad: "That's right sweetie, it's good he's your date, he is a nice guy " after this comment of my dad jungkook got shy and was even blushing .... cute 

Neph: " ok guys I think we should leave now it's late " 

Neph's Dad: " but we haven't taken any pictures of you and both of you together, let's take that first quickly " my dad got a camera and got some shots of me alone and then some with kook, the amazing fact was that we were twinning without even planning to do so. My dress was white and black tulle along with sparkles and he was in a navy suit but it had some sparkles on it, the suit was quite unique and he was looking handsome, to be honest, I noticed just now how handsome he is ....AHM.

[ JUNGKOOK'S LOOK ]

So we took some shots with my dad and then we were ready to leave. 

JUNGKOOK'S POV 

After we were done taking photos we left for our destination, while I was driving neph was on her phone talking to someone. To be honest people I think she looks really really beautiful I mean... I should focus on the road more. 

So we reached our destination, we got inside and everybody was just standing around in groups talking, playing, taking selfies/photos but what I found weird was that no one was dancing, the dance floor was empty aren't you suppose to dance on your prom? oh well, what do I have to do with it? We were also looking around and someone from behind called my name, as I turned around I saw my BFF jungwun calling me, he was with his date Alisa? alizeh? IDK. I took neph's hand who was still lost and started walking towards them

jungwun: " 'sup bro ? what are you doin' here ?" he sounded a bit drunk 

jk: " I'm neph's date " neph waved at both of them 

Alizeh: "I didn't know you guys are dating, jungkook right ?" 

Neph: " A yea... he's just the prom date we are not dating "I don't know why but I didn't like the sound of it, so I changed the topic

jk: " what are you guys planning on doing tonight, I mean it's pretty boring here"  

jungwun: " Let's get some drinks!! "  

Neph: " But I don't drink. " neph said with a cute pout, and I got awestruck, ahm well.... 

jk: " Then what do you wanna drink,  juice or soft drink ?" 

Neph: " soft drink sounds good. " she said cheerfully, I smiled at her 

jk: "ok we'll get our drinks, why don't you girls go and secure us a table ?" 

Alizeh: "sounds good "  jungwun's date said and took neph's hand to find a table. 

While we were getting our drinks jungwun asked me.

jungwun: " you and neph huh? Do you like her? " 

jk: " It's not what you think, she didn't have any date for tonight so I just offered to help " he smirked a little and said: 

jungwun: " of course you did , but didn't deny when I asked if you like her "I looked at him with my u are really unbelievable face 

jk: " There is no point talking to you, let's just go " he laughed a little and said "sure, let's do that" we got back and we're looking for girls when I saw neph waving at us to come over, I smiled and walked towards her and gave her drink she said a smol 'thank you .' 

AUTHOR'S POV 

As they all were sitting and chatting, drinking, clicking pictures like rest, a voice was heard on stage asking for everybody's attention they all were asked to stand up and come near the dance floor as they were about to announce prom king and queen. They all did as asked and waited for the result, at last, a girl named Ae-Ri won the title of prom queen and a guy named Do Yoon won the prom king title. The king and queen did a small dance together and then almost everybody was on the dancing floor dancing crazily. 

Suddenly a slow romantic song started to play and neph was about to leave when jungkook stopped her and asked to dance with him "but..." neph started just to be interfered with by kook " let's just do this one dance, it's boring to just sit and chat " 

Neph: " but I don't know how to " 

jk: " so do I, who cares just move along the melody " and that's what they did a quite messy, not so perfect couple dance, but the only thing that matter was that they were smiling and laughing .. they were happy that's all that matters. 

After the song ended neph said getting off the stage " Let's get out of here " 

jk: " You already wanna go home ?" 

Neph: " No, let's just go out grab something to eat from dinner, and sit under the open sky " 

jk; " open sky ? wanna sit on the road ?" 

Neph: "No stupid, I know just a place Let's go " 

kookie: "okie" 

that's what they did, they got pancakes and grilled cheese sandwiches along with milkshake and kook drove to the directions given by neph and they reached to an open ground covered with green, trimmed grass. The view of the star-studded sky was beautiful beyond words, the place had a peaceful aura to itself, kook was in love with this place already.
