OUR MEET-CUTE 2

AUTHOR'S POV 

Jungkook got a call from his BFF while he was driving, informing him that he himself will be 5 min late as something last minute came up. Non the less kook reached the club where they all be meeting, he parked the car and made his way towards the club. 

JUNGKOOK'S POV 

As I decided to wait for them outside I saw a girl standing there too. Frankly, to me, she looked underage despite her extra look. As much as I would like to admire her eye-popping red dress it's cold outside, so I just got inside by myself and decided to wait for them there only. 

NEPHELE'S POV 

I was waiting for my friends for the past 10 minutes outside the club in this chilly weather. To say I was frustrated would be an understatement, how can they always be so freaking late. Fuck it! I decided to go inside without them, but before I could do that finally like FINALLY my BFF along with alizeh and two other girls came after parking their car. I glared at them for being not on time. AGAIN. 

Alizeh: "what? chill babe, sorry I had to look my best so it just took some time, I'm sorry let's go inside," 

 Neph: "yea...ok let's do that". But again before we could go inside some guys walked towards us, alizeh introduced one of the guys as her date tonight. And they were having their small intro but I was literally freezing now so I spoke up "yea ok I got who you are can we just go inside ? I'm freezing !!" and without waiting for their reply I got inside quickly. They followed behind me, then alizeh's date ( whose name I didn't really get, I was busy getting freeze) pointed out some dude sitting at the corner table and told us that he is his BFF. He called him while advancing towards him, we all planned to join them as that was the point. DUH !! Without really paying attention I sat at the table next to my BFF and was rubbing my hands for some warmth. The inside temperature was better than before, I was getting on normal temperature. Suddenly someone spoke up

unknown:  " hey, I saw you standing outside the club aren't you underage or something ?" he asked me. Anddddd now I was sort of pissed. Why? I don't know, but going around and assuming people's age is absurd to me. So I said "It's really not my concern to entertain your assumptions of what you made about me in your head, I'm here 'cause I'm of the age, so yeah," I said rolling my eyes. I still don't know the guy's name, it's not like I care. Alizeh quickly proposed the idea to get some drinks, knowing that I was pissed right now. And that's not good. They all thought that getting drunk was the best option. I could see from my peripheral that the guy was looking at me but I ignored it. 

AUTHOR'S POV 

Some guys and girls have gone to the counter to bring all of them drinks. When the drinks arrived everybody took one glass except for nephele, everyone looked at her with questioning looks on their faces to which her BFF told them "neph doesn't drink guys". Then one of the girls said "but that's what you do in clubs, you are supposed to get drunk " to which nep replied "no thanks, I'm just here to hang out with you guys and chill, not really planning on destroying my one and only precious liver " everyone on the table laughed a little and a guy said " sure, but at least join in the cheers with a glass " so she took an empty glass and they did the cheers. After some time of them getting drunk and neph drinking some juice, some friends decided to hit the dance floor some were just sitting, drinking, and chatting. Neph decided to go for some fresh air as it was too suffocated here. 

JUNGKOOK'S POV 

I saw her going outside and decided to follow her. I saw her standing outside looking at the sky and hugging herself. And decided to approach her . "hey!" I said. She looked at me a bit startled and then said: "Hi" 

jk: " listen I didn't really mean to offend you or something back in there, it's just that you don't look according to your age " And I don't think so I said it right, cause she was looking at me blankly .... so I tried again.

jk: " what I mean is that you look young... I mean not like a kid or smthg just-" before I could explain myself any further she laughed a little and said " oh god, chill. Why are so nervous I wasn't going to scratch your face or something. Just relax ok " I smiled a little at my stupidity.

 jk: " well sorry I'm just not used to these conversations, a bit introvert you see "

Neph: " yea... it's fine, I do get you as I don't interact with a lot of ppl myself, not an introvert ...just not a fan of ppl in general " she gave me a sweet smile. ok so here's a thought, her smile is actually pretty, and it's just an appreciation thought you know. 

jk: "so. we good ?" 

Neph: "yea.. we're good." she said with a smile again. 

jk: " I'm jungkook btw " 

Neph: " oh, I'm nephele, neph in short ". Her name was beautiful ....like her. 

jk: " it's beautiful, wt does it mean ?" 

Neph: " clouds, it means clouds. " 

jk: "It is indeed beautiful, wanna go inside? it's cold here " 

Neph: " yea.. let's do that please " we both joined our friends at the table. From time to time we passed each other some small smiles, and it was time to leave as it was already late. 

AUTHOR'S POV  

They all came out and was about to go to their respective cars when the guys asked "is it ok for you girls to go home alone this late, or you wanna lift ?" to which neph replied "well we don't really, but if you are scared to go home alone THIS LATE I can drop YOU off you know . " after which everybody just laughed and got into their cars and left.    

Neph reached home around 1:00 a.m exhausted. After quickly changing she slept as soon as she fell on her bed.
