Chapter 28: The Hectic Student Council

Natsu's POV

Summer break was over and we all had to go back to school. The new term had started as soon as the school reopened. I also heard that two new members had joined the Student Council.

Yuki and I were walking down the hallway when a familiar voice called out.

"Yuki!"

We both turned around to see, Motoko Minagawa, a third-year student and President of the so-called 'Prince Yuki Fan Club', was walking towards us with her two companions, Minami Kinoshita and Mio Yamagishi, who were also the members of that stupid club. I raised an eyebrow at them. Motoko was carrying a green colored box in her hands. She reached it out towards Yuki.

"Um, I have a souvenir of Summer Sweethearts biscuits for you. Will you accept them?" She said with a nervous smile.

"Oh, thank you. Sorry, I don't have anything for you." Yuki responded politely, taking the box from her.

"Please, I don't mind at all." She stated.

"Yeah! Don't worry about that stuff, Yuki-kun!" Minami added.

Then suddenly, out of nowhere, those two girls went into a dream world and they started to emit bubbles, sparkles, and white feathers around themselves. I sweat-dropped at the sight.

What the hell?

"Minagawa senpai?" Yuki called out.

Motoko and Minami came out from their dream world and smiled sheepishly.

"Oh, I apologize, I had a flash of inspiration to make a verse of poetry." Motoko responded.

Then the three girls started to talk to Yuki about his summer break and all, totally ignoring my existence. I was started to get bored and hungry, so I casually took the box away from Yuki's hands and opened it. There were various flavors of delicious biscuits in that box, so I randomly picked one and took a bite.

"Mmm, these biscuits are really good, Motoko senpai. Hey Yuki, want some?" I stated, after chewing and swallowing the bite I took.

The girls gasped in shock and scowled at me.

"What the hell?!" Mio exclaimed.

"Hey, you!!" Minami called out.

"Natsu!! How dare you-"

Motoko was cut off when an unfamiliar voice spoke up from behind me and Yuki.

"Wow, you're so popular. Amazing."

We all turned around to see a girl with fair skin and average build and height.

She had lower-back-length and straight dark brown hair, with bangs framing her thick eyelashes, forming an "M-shape" towards the left side of her hair, and a cowlick sticking out from the left side. She also had two loose strands of her hair, laid on her shoulders.

The girl sweetly smiled at us. Then she noticed the biscuit box in my hand and her smile grew wider.

"Oh wow, these biscuits look so yummy!" she squealed as she skipped towards me.

"Want some?" I asked casually, reaching out the box towards her.

"Thank you!" she smiled at me, taking a biscuit from the box.

I smiled back at her.

Yuki's fangirls were yelling and throwing insults at me and that girl but we both were totally unfazed by them. Neither I nor that girl was giving any attention to them.

"Mmm, it is really good!" she stated once she took a bite.

"I know right." I responded.

"Oh, I'm Kimi Toudou from Class 2-A." the girl introduced herself to me with a sweet smile.
