Carter stormed towards us. I stepped in front of Ben. "Move," Carter said sternly. His chest moved up and down as he breathed heavily with anger.

"No, Lucian don't," I addressed his wolf. Carter's eyes flashed back and forth.

"I can't believe this Logan. I can understand from Hanna's wolf, Raine....but you? Your my BROTHER, Logan."

I growled slightly and got his attention. "Youre being ridiculous, Carter," I told him. Carter snarled, "is that so? I should've never trusted you. Alexa was better to me than you'll ever be."

I swallowed hard, "I know you're only saying that because you're hurt."

Carter chuckled darkly, "No Raine, I'm not. You and Hanna are nothing but w*ores."

Now he was addressing my wolf. He can hurt me but not to her.

"You DONT know what you're talking about Carter or Lucian, whoever the h*ll you are right now. And I'm the w*ore? Sure," I said through clenched teeth.

Ben cleared his throat, "Carter calm down before you do something stupid."

I could see Max walk up out of the corner of my eye.

I turned and walked away. I look back for a second, "For the record, I wasn't really going to come till I found out you invited me. But forget it."

With that I disappeared into the shadows.
