Hanna's POV

"Table three needs a refill of coffee, table six needs cleaned, and take table twelves order," Debbie, the owner ordered me. I smiled at her politely and did as told. Debbie was kind enough, even when the diner had money problems I was able to keep my job. I was greatful for her. But when she was stressed she was less than tolerable.

"Hello, my name is Hanna and I will take your order," I took out the pad from my apron.

"You look like hell," the person announced. The voice was deep and familiar. I looked up at him. "Sorry I don't have my Sunday bests on," I said sarcastically. He shrugged and I looked at my reflection in the window. My hair was sticking up in some spots and I had a smear of flour on my cheek. "Here," he handed me a napkin and I quickly wiped off the flour.

"So, what can I get you Jimmy?" I asked.

"Coffee and a stack of red velvet pancakes please, oh and I need to talk to you," Jimmy replied. I wrote down his order and told him, "my break is in 10 minutes. Your food will be right out." I gave the cook the orders and moved around the diner some more. I delivered Jimmy's coffee then went behind the counter.

"Order up!" the cook said. I grabbed Jimmy's pancakes and started over to his table.

"I'm taking my break Debbie," I told her. She nodded as she put more money in the cashier. I sat down Jimmy's pancakes and took a seat across from him. He grabbed ten packets of sugar and ripped them open with his teeth. I watched as he poured the sugar down in to his coffee. By the time he was done with the creamer, his coffee was a light light brown. "Would you like some coffee with that sugar?" I asked. Jimmy looked at me blankly before he cut into his pancakes and ate fast. After half of the pancakes were gone, he wiped his mouth.

"So, you needed to talk with me?" I prompted.

"Ah, yes, I need to talk to you about Nicole," he said.

"Nicole? The woman from the other pack?"

"Yes, the one with the freaky blue eyes. Something was off about her."

I nodded,"you said you felt something weird." Jimmy's eyebrows furrowed but he didn't seem to have anything else to say. He took a bite of pancakes and said, "something was just off. I don't know how to describe it."

He looked almost lost. I didn't know what to say to him, for I haven't known him long. I wondered why he was telling me. He didn't know me and I didn't know him. But I was glad he seemed to trust me enough to come to me.

"Do you think she's your mate?" I asked gently.

His eyes snapped up to meet mine. "No, it wasn't like that. From how everyone else has described it....there is no way Nicole is my mate." I nodded but said nothing to him. "Sorry if I'm bothering you, Hanna. Its just that you were there and know what I'm talking about. Plus...." he trailed off.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Well, technically you're supposed to be our Luna and we're supposed to be able to talk to you," he shrugged.

My heart swelled up. My wolf was proud to be Luna and to have Jimmy's trust. "Thank you for telling me, Jimmy. But I have to get back to work. I'm sure we can figure this out later, okay? I'll see you later," I said. I gave a small smile and went back to work.

I know this is a bit of a filler chapter but I hope you still like it. I have decided that I will likely write a sequel to this story. But this story is not even close to being finished.

Comment what you think and vote. I hope you all have a wonderful day.
