Carter's POV

I wanted to kill Ben. He looked confused a little. My other brother next to me, Max knew what Hanna was to me.

In the car my wolf was seething. He was mad at Ben. He was mad at Hanna showing Ben attention. But most of all he was mad at me.

His claws dug into my mind giving me a headache. I shot Ben a murderous look through the rear view mirror. He caught my look and raised an eyebrow.

"Don't do that again," my voice was deep and dangerously carefull. "Do what?" Max shot back at me.

I had told Max. I told him about Hanna. Instead of understanding He commanded me to break up with Alexa. Commanded. Me. He commanded an Alpha for God's sake!

He has been on my last nerve about her.

"Stay away from her Ben," I warn, ignoring Mac's scoffs.

"Why?" Ben asks. "Just do it," I growled venomously.

Silence.

"Is she your mate?" he asks. I pause.

If I say no he will stop flirting with her. If I say yes he'll stop out of loyalty for me.

My wolf growls lowly in my head, "say yes."

"Yes," I answer. He scoffed and said, "no way.

I look at him incredulously. "What did you just say?"

"Obviously you have known for a few days because Max knew. Yet you're still with Hanna's sister, Alexa."

"So what? My relationship with Alexa is none of you business."

Ben's eyes widened. "None of my business!?" Ben's voice gets louder with each word. "It is my business when you hurt my friends. I mean seriously Carter? Hanna's sister? Her freaking sister!? You are dating soon to be married to your mate's sister and she'll have to watch for the rest of her life. What do you want her in pain? I won't stop until you break up with Alexa."

My wolf is even angrier.

Ben looks smug, "just think. While your with Alexa and You think about her or you're walking away from Hanna. Some other guy might be thinking the same thing about Hanna. ANYONE can have her right now."

I growl. But I know it's true.
