A/N I just realized I never mentioned this but Jax is third in command. Max (Carter's brother. He is younger than Carter but older than Ben) is the Beta of the pack.
Hanna's POV
"Do you know what this is about?" I whispered to my brother, Jax.
Jax is Carter's third in command. Max (Carter's brother) is also here. My Gran, Mom, and Dad are here too. Jax is on my left and Ben on my right.
This morning I got an email from the Old alpha Garret (Carter's Dad) that we needed to be at the pack house.
I awkwardly avoided the Devil's gaze aka Alex's. She had been glaring at me for the past ten minutes.
"Hello everyone. I am glad that you are all here!" Garret said as he entered the room.
Everyone nodded in response. Garret smiled and sat down at the head of the table.
"You are probably wondering why you're here right now," Garret scanned our faces and briefly stopped on me. He gave me a kind smile and then looked around again. "No kidding," Ben muttered. His Dad seemed to hear because he looked over at him and raised an eyebrow.
"No back talk pup," his Dad said loudly. Everyone turned there gaze on Ben. The top of his ears went red along with his cheeks.
"Aww, is little Benny embawassed," I said in a baby voice and pinched his cheeks. Ben lightly slapped my hands away leaving me in chuckles.
"Alright. You are all here because you are the leaders to the pack. Or have family that is a leader," Garret said, he nodded towards me at the last part.
"It is now summer. And when I was younger we have the Summer Wolves ball. All of our allies came and we celebrated. Lots of people found there mates that way. I want to bring it back. This is why you are all here. You will be planning this. And there is lots to be done." He looked us all in the eyes again and smiled.
