Shisui stopped, his flask jacket covered in blood. Black under the moonlight, and hidden by the large amounts of trees around him. He gritted his teeth, his Sharingan spinning maliciously. And yet, the hand that was holding the pristine white paper was gentle, so unlike his current appearance.
"The biggest root of the leaf will cause the clan of fire to be distinguished. Beware of the man who's arms are covered, for he is the person you all should be wary for." It appeared again.
That was it, that was written in the paper. Shisui was appalled, whoever had sent this note. It was someone who knew them well. Shisui crumpled the paper, letting it burn under his feet.
This was beginning to get out of his control. This was beginning to confuse him.
Right after his mission, he had went to a place near the Uchiha compound. To a secret temple that was long forgotten, Shisui doesn't know why it was forgotten nor why it was a secret temple. He went there every time something— unfortunate had happened to his missions.
He had planned to stay in the temple grounds until sunrise before going home. Just to ground himself, he didn't believe in gods, but the place was quiet allowing him to gather his thoughts.
But the paper that was neatly folded in the middle of the stone tablet, covered in seals Shisui didn't even know existed. Had thrown him into a disarray.
The paper had floated to his hands, as if it was waiting for him. He had involuntarily gazed upon it's contents. And it held it there, as if willing him to not swivel his gaze anywhere other that it.
Shisui had watched the paper glow, and the seals around it form and turn into words. The paper had talked to him, it wrote out coded words, but Shisui wasn't a fool. Anbu codes change way too often, but Shisui kept up with it.
It had told him not to worry, for it was on their side. It explained certain things to Shisui, and he was able to grasp it. He knew the current situation, but. What should he do, when the enemy was not the leaf, but the roots. What can he do, when the paper shoved it's words to him that if he can't eliminate an elder of the village that he was loyal to. His whole clan would perish?
Shisui was but a child, barely a teen. After knowing all of this what does that person intend him to do?
Further more, Shisui was uneasy. He was disturbed by how much this person trust him so. It was almost as if the person is saying 'if it's you, then it's ok'.
"What...do I do with this?" He couldn't help but mutter a little bit lost as to what to do.

"I'll get more tea...." Mikoto quietly left the leaving room the tea cups were transferred to a tray, it's contents already cold and forgotten. The silence of the room was unreadable.
Fugaku closed his eyes, and crossed his arms. In front of him Itachi sat still, mimicking his father's silence. They don't know whether to trust the note that had quietly appeared in front of them. But it doesn't seem like the contents were lying.
"Father... Do you have any idea who..sent the note?" Itachi started, his tone unusually calm. But he found it hard to create the sentence.
"I don't." Fugaku opened his mouth, his hand went to tap the table. Trying to find traces of the seals that accompanied the note. "I don't understand, what does this person want us to do?" Fugaku solemnly thought out loud.
"I'm an Ally"
"I have an inkling." Itachi sighed, recalling the parchment. His thought process walking him a mile per second.
