Green, sunlit even under the veil of darkness. Sakura's eyes blared and glowed in the dark, a sharp contrast that was hard not to notice. There she stood, with her green jonin flask stained with dried blood. Her hair matted brown, no longer it's pink soft pastel color. The curve of her very being foretold great horror.

She was a girl, made woman.

Now she feels like a woman fit inside a shell of a girl. Not belonging, never belonging, always moving.

Sakura stood, on the void, her appearance muted but her very presence laid made the void she had stood upon, ripple. She surveys the surrounding, and for once Sakura feels like she was one with her body again.

"You like that." The woman, god, a entity stared at the girl front of her. Chained as she is, her voice had reverberated the space Sakura had called her mindscape.

The eyes of the god sees and knows how Sakura likes the effect of her mere presence alone. Kaguya knows Sakura likes to be seen as a person who had made a difference.

But in the being's eyes, the difference that Sakura made was a mere pathetic attempt on her part.

Sakura didn't reply, her eyes reflected the image of a god chained up before her.

She likes the dynamics of this. Sakura likes the  disparity of who's in charge.

A hand clasped her shoulder —heavy, steady, so steadily haunting—, Kaguya's figure leaned in, her voice a whisper of ancient times, of time immemorial. Sakura doesn't need to look, to know that there was another entity behind her. Kaguya smiles, still chained up, and the ghost of her vanished away from Sakura.

"Child." The god smiles, all teeth and feral. "You are a catalyst of all things chaos and anarchy." She had uttered, wholly aware of how Sakura's soul preened at the comment. Sakura's soul preened, like it was food given on good graces.

This wasn't given in good graces. Other people can instantaneously tell.

This was mocking.

"I am a nurturer of all life and healing."  Sakura replies. Her bloodied hands twitched.

The god smiles again. For Sakura had not denied her claim. Kaguya smiled, all closed eyes, and crescent smile.

Sakura hates the way it reminded her of her past teacher. Hated how it made her skin crawled with familiarity.

"You are the destruction and the unrested soul." The god continues.

"I am a mender, and a peacemaker." Sakura all but spat out. But her veins hummed in satisfaction when she heard the god's words. She could not deny her nature.

"You are the one who ends life, and buries the corpse of those whose life you have taken under the destruction you called helping." Kaguya's opalescent eyes crinkles with an unveiled laughter.

"I am the one who stands in the middle, the one who puts the souls of the dead to rest." Sakura did not like how her she was seen through.

Sakura had stood ram rod straight. "What are you getting at Kaguya." She all but questioned.

"You are very lucky." The god finally said, her head tilting to the side as her hair cascaded around her like an ever flowing waterfall.

"You don't say." Sakura stood in front of the god, all bloody and broken and torn. In her mindscape, nothing was hidden, and Kaguya played it to her favor.
