Sasuke led the way further down the clan compound, never once had they seen an Uchiha walk pass by. As they got on further the place was overtaken by trees. And it was looming and looking ancient.

"Hey Sasuke-teme, where are the other people?" Naruto walked behind the guy and asked with his hands behind his back. Looking around curiously. Occasionally looking at Sakura as if judging how she would react to the whole new scenery.

Keeping his pace steady, he answered Naruto. "The place that I'm leading you guys are private for the main family, and even that, this place is still not often visited even by my parents or anyone." He kicked a stone along the way, "so this place is pretty much free for us to use. No one would bother us here."

Bothered by the fact that an Uchiha spoke real lengthy sentences and even bothered to explain made Sakura look at Sasuke weirdly. "How did you know about this place Sasuke?" Looking around and making sure everything was kept in her mind, made Sakura ask casually.

"My brother led me here once. I wanted to practice and he showed me this place."

Sakura looked at Sasuke her lips twitched, at how Sasuke addressed his brother in such adoration. "Is it ok? Isn't this place supposed to be your secret place?" She saw Sasuke shrugged in in such a casual way, that it made her rethink her mind that yes Sasuke in this time line is different.

"Who cares, this isn't my secret place anymore. I got a new one." This line almost made Sakura trip on thin air, even more surprised when Sasuke smiled gently at them.

"True that! 'ttebayo! We have our own secret place ain't that right Sasuke-teme!" Naruto enthusiastically patted the back of Sasuke who slapped his hand away, just it was about to make his lungs collapse. Sakura let out a puff, a little bit peeved out by the unfamiliar yet familiar guy -err boy in front of her.

"Hey Saku-chan I was wondering, how did you get so good in this ninja stuff?" With his hands behind his head Naruto briefly glanced at the girl beside him. Sakura snapped out from her state of mind before looking at Naruto's unexpected question. She half expected Sasuke to ask that.

Humming for a second she answered "books, and mental practice?" Sakura scratched her head, not believing her own excuse. She hears the kyuubi snorting from inside her head. "Yeah mental practice worked for me." She nodded to herself as saying that yes, thats what she did.

Sasuke glanced at her, before sprinting on a tree. Attempting to climb it with his chakra. Not even half way through, he fell down but he didn't land on his butt. "Yeah I don't think you need mental practice for that." Sakura could only snort walking past him.

"Idiot, I didn't say mental preparation, I said practice. Those two are different things." She walked up on a tree and climbed up, straining her small reserves. "Look, mental practice is like your actually practicing on your head. While considering your abilities whether it is good or bad." She jumped down instead of walking through the tree trunk. "You have to be accepting on your own weaknesses while training with it as a possibility. That 'yes, you can't do that yet' and 'yes you have to this before doing this' "

Naruto looked at Sakura dumbly, while Sasuke looked away before coughing quietly. This made Sakura roll her eyes in amusement. "Even Sasuke-teme doesn't get it Saku-chan!" Naruto scratched his head and pointed it out, to which Sasuke turned and scowled at the blond.
