~Time Skip One More Month!~
Y/N POV
I stood in the airport, hugging Shannon tightly, both of us crying.
"Oh I'm going to miss you so much," I said, burying my face in her shoulder.
"I'll miss you too," she choked. "Come on, I managed to convince my boyfriend to move to LA, you were supposed to convince Eric, not leave with him!"
I let out a halfhearted laugh, heartbroken at the thought I'd have to move so far away from my best friend of over ten years.
"Well we'll still see each other!" I said, trying desperately to be cheerful. "We'll go on tours with the band and see each other then. And I'll see you in a month when my baby's born. You've got no choice on that one," I said, taking her hand and resting it on my baby bump.
"Oh you better believe I'm going to be there to see my new little niece or nephew. You're going to be wonderful parents," she said.
"I hope so," I said, looking over at Eric as he said goodbye to Gene.
"Y/N, if Gene can be a good father, you bet your ass Eric will be an amazing father," she said with a grin.
"I miss you already," I said, hugging her again.
"I miss you too."
We stood wrapped in an embrace before Eric rested a hand on my shoulder, giving it a squeeze.
"Come on Bunny, we've got to go before we miss our flight," he said.
Letting out a sigh, I let go of Shannon.
"I'll see you in a month, call me when you land," she said, and I nodded.
"Take care! Gosh I can't wait to see you again too you cutie," I said, gently tapping Nick on the nose.
Gene smiled, holding his son tight.
"It'll suck not having you two so close. Have a safe flight!" he said.
After one last round of goodbyes, Eric and I walked our way through the airport, checking our bags and getting in line for security.
"Do you think the x-rays will hurt the baby?" I asked worriedly.
"Of course not! They wouldn't have pregnant women go through them if that was the case," he said.
"What if the flight triggers premature labor?!" I asked, heart beginning to race.
He gave me a smile, resting a hand on my cheek.
"It won't. We're going to be fine, I promise. We'll have our comfy first class flight, and we'll land, and move in to our place since the movers have gotten all of your stuff set up already, and then in a month we'll have our baby!" he said.
"But what if something happens?" I asked, feeling my heart racing faster.
"Nothing's going to happen, I won't let it. Now come on, once we get through security I'll get you something to eat before we get on the plane! What sounds good?"
I frowned, mulling over his question and trying to come up with a suitable answer without much luck. Plenty of things sounded good until I gave them a second's thought, in which they became the most repulsive thing imaginable. Finally, I had settled on a cheese sandwich by the time we got through security and made it to our gate.
"Alright I'll go get it, you wait here," he said, giving me a kiss and walking off.
I sat at the gate, arms around my baby bump, able to feel people staring. I knew they most likely recognized Eric, I mean who couldn't with all that hair?
Sure enough, when he came back with my sandwich a girl who couldn't have been more than a few years younger than me nervously approached.
"Um...excuse me? Are you Eric Carr?" she asked.
"That's me!" Eric said, giving her a smile.
"Could I get your autograph?"
Of course he signed it, since he loved his fans and interacting with him, while I sat there doing my best to fight away the surge of jealousy. Once the fan walked off, he turned to me, giving me a kiss.
"Never forget you're the only one who owns my heart," he murmured, and I smiled.
