~Time Skip 3 Months!~
Y/N POV
I bounced my leg restlessly as the cab drove us to the airport.
"Dammit of all the days for there to be traffic!" I moaned.
Eric giggled, pulling me against his side and giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"We'll get there in less than twenty minutes Bunny don't worry!" he said soothingly.
"I know but I want to get there sooner! I want to see Shannon as soon as she steps off the plane!" I protested. "In case you've forgotten, I haven't seen my best friend in months and we have a lot to catch up on!"
"Shh calm down, I know," he said, rubbing me on the shoulder. "You can't be so heated around Shannon, stress isn't good for pregnant women! I guess I'll have to keep you away until you calm down," he teased, eyes sparkling.
"Oh don't even think about it," I grumbled.
He laughed, ruffling my hair affectionately, and I responded in the same, tangling his mane of curls even more than it already was. We fell into a playful shoving match in the backseat of the cab, no doubt irritating our driver and only ending when he tickled my ribs, making me burst into laughter which he then silenced with a deep kiss.
"Gosh I love you," he said when he pulled away, giving me a warm smile. "I can't imagine life without you."
"I don't even want to let the thought cross my mind, my Honeybee," I said, putting a hand on his cheek, and he pulled me right back into a kiss.
By the time we broke apart we had reached the airport. Eric kept his hand in mine as we walked to where we'd be able to meet Shannon and Gene.
"I can't wait to see her, my gosh it's been ages," I said.
"It'll be nice to see Gene again! Haven't seen him in ages either, not since last month," Eric teased, and I rolled my eyes.
"Sometimes I think you're lucky I love you," I muttered.
"I know I am," he said, giving me a kiss.
I kissed him back, only breaking away when I saw a familiar blond.
"Shannon!" I cried, waving.
Her face lit up and she waved back. "Y/N! I've missed you!" she called.
Leaving Eric standing there, I ran up to her, giving her a tight hug.
"Shannon! My gosh look at you, you look so good!" I cried, taking a step back.
She smiled, cheeks pink, and ran a hand along her stomach, which was slowly but surely starting to become a defined baby bump.
"You're too sweet. Gosh I've missed you! Ugh I was so disappointed that you had already left basically by the time I found out. You've just got to come with me after the tour ends to get baby clothes and such!" she said eagerly.
"Have we got time for that?" I asked, and she smiled.
"Of course! The tour ends in October, I'm not due until January. Goodness I can hardly believe I'll be having a baby next year," she said, cheeks pink.
"Hey come on, it's not just your baby," Gene teased, walking over and slipping an arm around her waist, pulling her against his side, giving her a long kiss before letting go and walking to talk to Eric.
"How have you been feeling?" I asked, looking at her baby bump.
She let out a sigh, resting a hand on her stomach.
"Oh, it's been off and on. My morning sickness isn't awful but it's still there, and gosh I've been so tired and achy. But oh Y/N it's just the most wonderful feeling to know we're going to have a baby! Gene's been such a dear, I mean he's a bit terrified of being a bad father but it's just been the sweetest thing, I keep finding him reading parenting books and taking notes. Will you and Eric have a baby? Oh you two would be perfect parents," she said, tearing up.
I smiled, handing her a tissue, which she grateful accepted.
"Sorry, I'm just so emotional lately," she said sheepishly, blowing her nose.
"It's alright! And as for Eric and I, we'd like to in the future," I said, looking at him with a fond smile. There were few things I wanted more than a family with him.
