Summary: (Y/n) is Zemo's assistant but maybe even a little more to him.

(Y/n) was currently busy with pouring some drinks for Zemo and his two guests who would stay here for a few days like it seemed.

She was the assistant of Zemo but she actually didn't mind to work for him. Well, there was a lot of work to carry out or she had to help him with his crimes- but he paid her totally well in contrast to other people.

He also treated her good or even invited her to these fancy restaurants. She had a good life and it was easy to say that she had developed feelings for the young Baron.

They were partners in crime after all.

(Y/n) was torn from her thoughts as Sam Wilson approached her. "Isn't it annoying to be sent around by him?" He asked with a small smile on his soft lips.

"Well, sometimes, but I'm after the money and he has Pretty Privilege."

Zemo, sitting on the couch with James Barnes, had to laugh.

"Oh, is that why you like me so much?" He asked shaking his head in amusement.

"He looks more like a ferret to me." James stated and Sam errupted in laughter. (Y/n) couldn't help but laugh too at the supersoldier's statement.

Zemo shook his head, before he continued to talk.

"Well, James and Sam. I assume that this John Walker still needs a while until he catches up with us, so feel like home and get whatever you need."

Sam thanked him before he took another sip from his drink while James did not respond, showing no reactions nor any emotions.

Apparently he was still angry at (Y/n) and Zemo because they started the civil war.

"It's getting late, we should get some rest because I'm pretty sure we're going to be busy tomorrow." Zemo said to break the silence.

"(Y/n), come over to me once you're done with showing James and Sam their rooms. I have to talk to you." He said with his typical sweet smile before he walked away.

After (Y/n) showed James and Sam their rooms, she checked on Zemo like he had asked her before.

When she entered the huge bedroom she saw him sitting on his bed in his dark blue bathrobe. (Y/n) felt the urge to bite on her lips at the sight.

"Sit down." He said and patted the spot next to him.

Of course (Y/n) obeyed and sat down on his bed (Which was surprisingly really soft and comfortable).

"Are you going to betray James again?" She asked quietly.

Zemo shook his head. "I know him now and I regret what I did." He mumbled quietly, not even looking at her. Instead he was staring at the ground.

"It was a mistake to seek my revenge on them and I think my family wouldn't be happy if they knew what I've done... They'd be disappointed."

(Y/n) suddenly felt really bad for Zemo. He wasn't a bad person. He just missed his family and she was sure that he did regret what he had done.

"Just know that... if you need anything I'll be here for you- Not just as your assistant but as a friend." (Y/n) whispered and put her hand on Zemo's shoulder.

Zemo turned to look at her with his typical smile.

(Y/n) went to say something to give him more reassurance but she was stopped when she felt his lips on hers.
