Prompt: "I would love to see you re-create the scene in Season 2 after Spencer gets shot. He is coming down the stairs and goes to the fridge. Olivia startles him by saying "leave some orange juice...". She tells him why she is downstairs and he tells her about his visit to UCLA. They have a "moment" but Spencer says goodnight and heads back upstairs with Liv displaying a "look". I would love to read what if they acted on the moment even if it was just a long talk or them realizing how much they need one another and have each other's back,".

Thank you @PearlIvy1908, for the story Idea! Sorry, it's taken me so long to write it but I hope I was able to translate your prompt idea into words! :)

That scene was truly chef's kiss and they definitely had a moment of realization and felt something deeper in that second in time. It was truly a masterpiece scene!

By the way, this scene and the hospital scene will forever be my favorite scenes. I don't know what it was with these two scenes, but they are still my top five scenes in all of the series. Maybe I'll write a continuation from that hospital scene just because I loved it so much! It might take me a couple of months but we'll see! LOL

Happy Reading! :)

The sounds of tires screeching the corner haunted him, while the car headlights blinded him, and the deafening sound of a gunshot sent his body into convulsions violently waking him up. His heart pounded faster than he could control it, gasping for air while his shirt had been drenched in sweat.

Sitting on the edge of the bed he let his feet touch the cool wood floor below him hoping it would ground him enough to know that it was just a nightmare and that he was okay. Desperately clenching at his chest, the pain from his still-healing wound ached and throbbed.

Tucking his head in between his knees he was able to control his breathing after a few minutes. Letting his elbows rest on his knees, the throbbing ache in his chest came to a standstill. He knew this feeling all too well in the past month.

The same nightmare that haunted him every night since the shooting, was the same nightmare that kept him awake almost every single night since.

Sometimes his nightmares would be different, and instead of him lying on the ground, it would be Olivia. That he didn't jump in time to save her, and instead she was the one bleeding out the night of the cotillion. And as much as he screamed for help nobody came.

He could feel the desperation while trying to keep Olivia awake until the ambulance came. He would repeat to her that help was on its way and that she'd be okay. But even in his dream, he knew that wasn't true. Help wasn't on its way, and the sirens were just an illusion as every single time they were too late.

So instead Spencer would cradle Olivia in his arms seeing the life in her eyes leave her. Those same brown eyes he couldn't imagine not seeing every day were lying lifeless in his arms. He screamed in agony and let his cries awake him every time.

Those were the worst of his nightmares. The ones where he couldn't save Olivia. The same nightmares that kept him awake at night. And on those nights the only thing that let his mind rest was to go check on Olivia. Something that has become a part of his routine in the past few weeks since he'd been shot. And tonight was no different.

After his heart settled back to its normal rhythm letting him breathe a little easier, he got up, and grabbed a change of clothes seeing that he'd drenched through the ones he'd been wearing. This time he opted for no shirt as he knew it would be a waste anyway since he'd just sweat through it again.
