And here is the final part of this series. I swear I was about to throw this whole last part and myself to the curb on trash day. I definitely struggled with it in the beginning and didn't get the inspiration to write it until about a few days ago. It's been painful, to say the least, but I'm just happy it came together and turned out okay. But you could be the judge of that :)
I want to first thank you so much for reading this one-shot turned mutl mini-novel series! lol. A new name I thought of for these one-shots that are more like mini novels at this point. More so because I never know how to write short chapters or one-shots. I always think there is something more to add to the story so it's hard to keep them short. So apologies for the long chapter you are about to read. I made sure to put some dashes in between that way you could take a break if you need to.
Happy Reading! :)

"Welcome to the best apartment you can buy in all of Los Angeles,". The young woman spoke opening the door to let Spencer and Grace inside. The realtor wasn't wrong, it was one of the best apartments in all of downtown. With already a few offers from the top NFL, NBA, and MLB players in the league. The penthouse had been one of the most viewed listings his mother had picked out for them to see.
The home included an open floor plan, solid oak floors, power window shades, wine fridges, and high-end appliances with smart technology throughout the home. The first floor was designed for entertainment purposes in contrast to the more private sleeping areas upstairs. Which included a master, and a guest bedroom. But what sold him to want to put an offer on this home had been the 360 panorama view the floor to ceiling windows provided. It was breathtaking, to say the least. He could see all of Los Angeles from the penthouse.
But Spencer still didn't know which team he would be playing for next season. So he tried to not fall in love with the apartments. Even though he knew, either way, they'd be great investments, he wasn't particularly looking to buy at the moment. Rather see if he could potentially live there if he would choose to play for the San Diego Chargers.
With San Diego only being a two-hour drive or an hour by plane, he thought his halfway point would be to buy an apartment in Los Angeles for his permanent residence and rent one in San Diego during season. A place to stay for when he was in town for meetings, or just to get away for the weekend. A place he could call home again.
Spencer was never into the glamour lifestyle or into the new designer clothes as some of his teammates would indulge. Sure he drove a nice car and had a few luxury items in his closet. But in general, he loved to live a humble lifestyle. Especially growing up with his mother living paycheck to paycheck, he learned from an early age how important money comes and goes. But it didn't mean that he couldn't enjoy it a little. Besides nothing could beat the view and the amenities this penthouse had to offer.
"This building has a 24-hour lobby, concierge, a resident clubhouse, resort-style pool with a jacuzzi, a sky park with fire pit seating, a few game and movie theater rooms. A wellness studio with everything you may need, and a dog park. I mean you can't beat this view. It's really going to make you feel as if you're at a five-star resort hotel. We strive on providing the best service for our members, and owners,". Grace and Spencer followed the realtor throughout the home as she explained what the penthouse and the building had to offer.
"How much is this penthouse priced at?". Grace asked looking over the flyer the realtor handed her. "1.5 million. These penthouses go quick, and they don't often come on the market as much. Especially with views like these, it's a rare commodity,". Grace looked over the flyer once more.
"And how long has it been on the market?". The realtor looked at the listing on the tablet she held in her hands. "Only a week,". Grace raised her eyebrows looking back to Spencer who'd still been by the window looking out to the view. "You think we could have a minute?". Grace asked when the realtor nodded. "Sure just let me know if you have any more questions,". Walking back to Spencer she placed a hand on his shoulder.
