Finding a new truth

 Blair emerged from the tunnels five days later, her transformation unmistakable. Her once brown hair now cascaded in fiery red hues with subtle black roots, framing her face like flickering flames. The hazel of her eyes had given way to an intense shade akin to the fires of hell itself. Blair had become the embodiment of a goddess, her presence commanding and radiant.

Siren greeted Blair with a reverent smile, bowing deeply as Blair entered the empty throne room. Following her lead, Jinx, Bayo, Luna, and Lisa all paid homage, their awe palpable in the presence of Blair's transformed aura.

The room was aglow with the light that now surrounded Blair's being. While Hades radiated a serene blue aura, Blair's was a vibrant red, tinged with hues of pink, a clear sign of her undisputed sovereignty over the underworld.

Jinx smiled warmly and walked beside Blair as they made their way to their thrones. Blair settled into her seat, her sisters taking their places beside her. As Luna sat down, a circle of fire ignited in the center of the room, its flames dancing with an ethereal glow.

With Blair's gesture, the summons went out, and one by one, gods and goddesses materialized in the throne room, drawn by the blazing fire and Blair's commanding presence. The room filled with a mix of anticipation and reverence as each deity took their place, acknowledging Blair's call.

Blair's smile held a new intensity; where she once commanded respect, now she evoked a primal fear. She glanced over at Siren, who stood nearby, and gave a slight nod of acknowledgment, her gaze piercing and authoritative.

"Happy belated birthday, Goddess Macaria, Leader of the crowns, my sister-in-law, and the true leader of the underworld," Siren declared, her voice resonating confidently through the room. Applause erupted, causing Blair's dog, Papu, to scurry into her arms for comfort. Blair chuckled softly, soothing Papu with gentle strokes while Braxy, her loyal companion, nuzzled Papu affectionately.

"As everyone is aware, on my birthday, my power doubled. I now bear the mantle of not just a goddess but also a crown and a succubus. My sisters and I made the decision to temporarily confine Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus due to Rhea's influence over them. Though we planned to release them after my birthday, I must first learn to control this newfound power. Until then, they remain under lock and key," Blair explained firmly, the grumble of dissent barely audible but quickly silenced by her assertive tone. "Releasing them prematurely risks falling prey to Rhea's control myself, so any objections will not sway my decision. Now, Jinx, you mentioned something you wished to discuss?"

"Yes, there are actually two matters. Firstly, Hades shared information about siblings we were unaware of. With your decree welcoming all our siblings, I propose we seek them out. We can gauge their interest in joining the council or even simply meeting us. I motion to approve this venture," Jinx proposed.

"I second it," Bayo chimed in.

"All in favor?" Blair inquired, scanning the room. Luna, Darla, William, Toby, and Austin, as the soulmates of the crowns, raised their hands. Blair, ever inclusive, expanded the vote beyond the small council's purview, addressing the entire gathering.

"As any new gods, goddesses, or half-breeds discovered will impact us all, I open the vote to everyone present. Your opinions matter, though the final decision rests with the crowns. Please indicate if we have your support," Blair announced.

Every hand in the room went up, and Blair smiled warmly. She knew that by demonstrating trust and transparency—qualities Zeus and his brothers had often lacked—she was setting a new tone for their shared leadership. It marked the beginning of a new era for Olympus, though Blair understood the road ahead would be arduous, especially with Zeus's legacy casting a long shadow. Yet, she was determined to earn their trust through hard work and dedication, knowing her sisters would have to do the same.
