A/N:  Just a small warning, this chapter is pretty long.

People aren't so bad, really, it's what the world does to them.

Savannah hadn't slept well.

Well actually, Savannah hadn't slept at all.

She didn't really feel like it. Instead she spent the whole night working on the radio which she still hadn't figured out. She was starting to lose hope with the radio. She would have to find some other way to let Pierce know that she was staying here to gather information.

Pierce had no doubt realized by now that there was a problem since neither Savannah nor the man he had sent to get her, had returned. Savannah could only hope that he didn't do anything stupid that would backfire on her.

She had spent the morning sitting on the window frame, working on the radio. There had been a few footsteps outside her room, she guessed that the others on her floor had already woken up.

"Shit!" Savannah dropped the radio after a painful electric shock had reached her fingers.

Yeah, it was time to give up on the radio and find a different way.

Savannah was a good fighter okay... building communication devices was not her strong suit.

Savannah shook out her still tingling fingers and silently cursed everything and everyone. There was a soft knock at her door and Savannah quickly stood up to open it. She opened the door about an inch to see Peter standing on the other side, giving her a small smile.

"Good Morning" he said happily.

Savannah refrained from raising her eyebrows at him. Instead she just gave him a small half-smile and leaned against the door.

"Breakfast is ready, and Morgan and Pepper just got back if you want to see them."

Savannah knew who Pepper was, it was Tony's wife, CEO of Stark Industries. But she still had no clue who Morgan was. She guessed it was probably Tony's kid? niece? Cousin? Who knows?

She also didn't know why Peter was at the Avengers tower. Unless he was like Spiderman or something, he shouldn't really be here. But based on the way they all treated him at dinner, he was like their kid or something?

She didn't know, this whole thing is weird. She had caught him swinging around the tower through the window in the very early hours of the morning. He was in the Spiderman suit although the mask part was off so her Spiderman guess wasn't too far off.

"I'm not hungry" Savannah went to close the door again so she could come up with another plan to communicate but Peter put his hand on the door, stopping it from closing.

"But it's pancakes today, Steve's pancakes are the best, trust me"

Savannah didn't stop herself from raising her eyebrows this time and Peter just grinned happily.

"Aren't you still not supposed to talk to me?" she asked.

"Nat says it's okay, as long as I don't annoy you too much" He cheered, letting himself into her room.

Savannah stopped herself from whatever sassy thing she was going to say about the fact that he was annoying her, because she felt like Peter could probably help her somehow in the future.
