"What's your condition?" I spat back at him, placing my hands firmly on my hips.

"You share a room with me."

He was joking. He had to be joking.

What kind of stranger was he? Practically pushing himself on me, forcing me to sleep and live in the same room as him. For the entire summer, no less. Did he think I was totally off my rocker?

No, I barely had enough ambition to go on through the day, and I dared not waste my breath questioning his sanity.

Because I already knew the answer.

"Are you insane?" I felt the words slip pass my lips before I managed to stop them.

"Nope," He grinned brightly, "Just simply merely insane."

"So insane, no less," I repeated what I had heard him say, "But..."

"But?" He peered into my eyes annoyingly, anxiously staring me down, "But?"

"Oh! Would you just let me finish?" I flung my arms into the air, on the verge of giving up on this entire vacation, "I meant that maybe, possibly, I could make you a deal."

"Yes!" He did that typical guy move, pulling his fist down in victory.

"I wasn't finished, Aiden," I perked up, finally feeling in control over him, "I want your bed."

"You can have it," He licked his lips, misinterpreting my offer, "With me, of course."

"Not what I meant," I groaned in frustration, "I meant you sleep on the floor; I sleep in your bed. Without you."

"Hmm, I'm not too much of a fan of that idea," He rubbed his chin in fake thought, "I favor my plan. How 'bout you?"

"You are the most difficult person in the entire world," I shoved my hands into my pockets, urging myself not to strangle him.

"Well, screw this," He grabbed my wrist and yanked me over to another house, "You win... For now."

"Tera, Rick!" I called for them to follow us, "He's kidnapping me, if you care."

"We'll be there in a sec," Tera mumbled, reluctant to giving up a make out session with Rick.

I redirected my attention back to Aiden, who was already unlocking his front door, and I bit my lip nervously as he swung the door open to expose the most spectacular beach house I had seen.

Twinkly, colorful lights circled around pillars on either side of the parlor, the very entrance to the psychedelic themed house, and I gasped in shock, unaware on how rich he must have been to afford everything.

Bright red couches and geometrical lamps surrounded me as I let myself into his house, without him telling me it was okay, and I spun around to see all of the interesting shapes and sizes of the decorations.

"This is so amazing," I hopped around the beach house, visually exploring the few rooms I could see from the front door, "How can you afford this?"

"My dad's... Special."

I peeked at him, "What do you mean?"

"He's, uh, a business man," He tried to cover up his stuttering.

"What? A drug dealer?" I made an effort to get to know a little about him and his life, "You don't have to be so shy."

"I'm not shy," He plopped down on the couch, flicking the TV on, "And my dad's a real business man, seriously."

"Alrighty, then," I hopped over the back of the couch, half landing on Aiden's lap, "Sorry."

"You're blushing," His smirk only made my face hotter.
