Not much happens in this, but... ;D

I stood alone looking up at the tall building. It looked so different from when I last saw it, and I wondered if I came to the right school. No, I made sure of it. Students wearing the same uniform as me flocked the doors of the school. The brick building towered two stories over everyone, and more people drove up into the parking lot. The morning sun beat down on me, and I wiped a bead of sweat off of my forehead. School had begun finally, after two full months of pure joy, and I sighed a little.
I locked my blue Porsche, listening for the click of the locks. I flung my tote on my shoulder and held a notebook in my hand. I began to the school once I had everything I needed, and the excitement filled my body. I hadn't noticed that I was a little excited to get back to school, but I felt a little worried, too. But I wiped the thought out of my head. This year had to be amazing, no, it would be amazing. I woke up extremely early this morning, feeling a little pride. I had never woken up early on a school day, but this year had yet to prove it was different.
"Hey, Valaria," one of my friends waved at me as I made my way into the hallway.
I gazed at my schedule that I had taped to my notebook, and I pushed my way through the boys and girls dressed in uniforms and the teachers who lingered around their classroom doors. The halls were like any other schools- white and basic with posters and fliers about upcoming events and clubs. Lockers of white and blue covered the walls, and classroom doors were in between groups of ten or so lockers. Some of the upper classmen were sorting out books in their lockers, and crowds of students- cliques, mostly- made their way around me and went on to their classes. The under classmen jumped in excitement when they got their schedule, and wherever you went, you heard the happy yelps.
I made my way to my first class, home room, and took a seat near the back of the classroom next to my best friend, Andrea, who fixed her makeup casually. She didn't see me, only herself in a tiny mirror. I glanced at her from the corner of my eye and waited for her to finish, and I whispered, "Hey, Andy."
She looked up in shock, "Valaria!" She stood up to give me a hug and continued, "V, I haven't talked to you in so long. How was Guava?"
I raised an eyebrow in her last question, "Guava? A guava is a fruit, and besides I visited Ghana," I sat back down in my seat and picked out a notebook from my Michael Kors tote.
"Well, how was Ghana?"Andrea finally asked, rolling her eyes.
She didn't exactly care whether I visited guava or Ghana; she just wanted to know how fabulous it was. Andrea viewed the world as just a place for amazing vacations, and she wasn't too smart either. Somehow, though, I wanted to take her with me, but our schedules never really matched in the summer. She had her summer modeling job, and of course I had my extravagant vacations with my brother. School was the only place that we got to spend time with each other, and we didn't mind it either. We texted each other in class whenever we were separated never got in trouble.
I grinned, "Fabulous! We stayed in this really cute hut-like house," I told her everything I could remember about Ghana, and once I finished, class started. I sighed silently and looked over to Andrea who also sighed. We hated this class, mainly since it required a lot of work too early in the morning. Math bored me to death, also. It just made me tired and a little groggy, unlike the other classes here. The others were somewhat interesting and had better teachers that didn't make you yawn.
We began texting each other about her summer, and how she landed a huge modeling job. To be honest, I hardly cared about her job, but I had to act like it since she had earned the title: Best friend. I went back to when we had first met:
On our first day of the academy, we arrived at the same time: late, and we had to go to the office in order to get our schedules and head off to class. I admired her blonde hair and her perfect skin, but I hated complimenting people. It made me feel weak. So, we sat together in silence until, to my surprise, she told me that she loved how I did my hair. I thought that I should at least tell her something back, and I did. We talked continuously, and we ended up having all of our classes together. She showed me how to put on makeup when I turned thirteen, and I tutored her in, well, all of her classes. People envied our friendship, and I enjoyed it. When we told people how we met, they laughed, but it never made us laugh.
However, class thankfully, and I made my way to my next class. I had six minutes to make it to a new hallway and into my history class, so I walked slowly and talked with Andrea for a while. People shoved me out of the way, and nerdy kids raced through the halls. I finally decided that now would be the best time to head to my class. My schedule in hand and everything going right, I saw them. Three young men in khaki pants, button down shirts, and a tie, stood with the headmaster. By the looks of it, they could be only one thing: new students.
