AMBER HOPPED INTO HER CAR, THANKING GOD NO ONE WAS HOME WHEN RAFE HAD DROPPED HER OFF. She had taken a quick shower and gotten changed into a different bathing suit in preparation for another one of Kelce's parties which were to be thrown later that evening. Currently, she was making her way back to the Cameron residence seeing as she had nothing better to do considering the fact that her brother spent all his time on the opposite side of the island. She did debate on going to Topper's house, but decided against it; she didn't want to see Theo, let alone have a conversation with the boy.
Amber let herself inside the Cameron household, not bothering to knock. After all, it was basically her second home. Before she could let a word fall from her lips to let anyone know she had arrived, Sarah Cameron grabbed her hand and pulled her in, nodding her head towards the porch door. Amber peeped her head over, seeing Rafe getting lectured by none other than Ward Cameron himself. Amber instantly rolled her eyes, she despised the way Ward treated his son sometimes. "You know that pogue I just fired? Way more reliable than you." Amber couldn't help but frown at the words Ward said and even Sarah looked like she felt sorry for her brother. "You need to get it together Rafe, or you can go live on the cut." Amber didn't even need to see Ward's facial expression this time to know he was being serious, with the tone of voice he spoke with.
They exchanged a few more words before she heard shuffling and Rafe mention the fact that his younger sister didn't have a job. In a way it somewhat reminded her of the way her parents always put more pressure on Amber compared to her brother. The two were more alike then different in that matter. "Told you." Sarah said to her brother the second he stepped inside the house, to which Rafe looked at Amber with an expression she couldn't read, "Shouldn't have bought that motorcycle with the generator money." Rafe looked at his sister before nodding and walking off whereas Amber couldn't help but try and catch up with him despite Sarah calling her name in protest.
"Rafe, where are you even going?" Amber called out, directly behind him. "Where do you think, Amber?" He stopped in his tracks to turn around which only caused Amber to walk straight into his chest. She sighed, looking up to meet his gaze and when she did she could tell he was hurting, even if he would never admit it. She knew how much Rafe actually cared about what his father thought of him, "Am I at least going to see you at Kelce's tonight, polo prince?"
He chuckled at the nickname, nodding his head "You bet your ass. When have I ever missed one of my best friends parties?" Amber grinned as she pulled Rafe in for a hug, "Don't do anything stupid 'til then." She whispered before pulling away and returning inside to find Sarah.
"Feels like I haven't seen you in forever!" Topper exclaimed as he pulled Amber in for a hug. She had just gotten to Kelce's house along with Sarah and the party was already in full swing considering they were an hour late. "We need to hangout soon," She pulled away smiling as he nodded at the suggestion "I'm gonna leave you two love birds alone now, any idea where Kelce is?" Amber asked to which she received a short no before wandering off inside the house to fend for herself.
