Will I live that life?
A life full of moments,
Frozen in time,
But never forgotten,
As those memories don't need to be.
Will my life be like a coming of age movie?
The truth is,
I doubt that,
As worrying about exams,
And your physical health,
Is not exciting enough to be presented on screen.
I consume so much media,
If it is available,
I devour it.
Living through other people's lives is my ideal,
And I can't help but indulge.
You can't blame me for it,
Other people's lives are just so much more interesting than my own.
When will I be happy with what I've got?
I have a life lived with a lot of privilege,
And yes I still look at others and constantly compare mine to theirs.
So:
Will I live that life?
The answer with the highest probability is no,
And yes a girl can hope,
She can hope for it her whole life if she really wants to.
But the real question is:
Does she want to?
